Wessex Main Line: Southampton - Salisbury Extension - V1.06 Update

Hi Everyone

I had an email in my inbox couple of hours ago advising of an update to the JT Wessex Main Line: Southampton - Salisbury Extension route.

Update notes below

v1.06 - 2026/02/03

- Includes the latest JT Common Library.

- Fixed signal E885 at Romsey not protecting the crossover ahead.

- Fixed missing track caps across the route.

- Fixed overlength platform marker for Hinton Admiral Platform 2.

- Fixed underlength siding markers for Bournemouth Middle Sidings.

- Fixed cable troughing popping into view near Alderbury.

- Fixed road not showing on bridge over Pokesdown station.

- Fixed floating roads, fencing and clutter at Millbrook.

- Fixed floating road at Bournemouth.

- Fixed floating cars at Bournemouth.

- Updated scenarios to use Class 66 Enhancement Pack 2.0 Vol. 1 rather than the discontinued Class 66 Enhancement Pack or default Class 66.

- Updated scenarios to use FSA/FTA Wagon Pack rather than default container wagons.

- Updated low resolution concrete texture blocks at Southampton Central.

- Updated various signal gantries across the route to use more accurate models.

- Updated Totton level crossing.

- Added AP AI horn compatibility for whistle boards, platform ends and tunnels across the whole route. Platform ends have a 1 in 8 chance of a horn sounding.

- Added additional markers and portals to aid scenario creation.

- Added traffic lights to junction near Southampton Central.

- Added concrete wall to bridges over Southampton M.C.T. and Millbrook.

- Added railings to bridge over railway near Totton.

- Added missing PIS screen for Brockenhurst Platform 1.

- Added grass to bare embankment near Pokesdown.

- Added missing palisade fence at Bournemouth.

To update you just need to uninstall via add/remove programs and install the update

Fantastic update! All these fixes and improvements will really make the JT Wessex line more realistic and enjoyable to travel. Can't wait to try out the new textures and updated scenarios!
