Hello everyone, This is the official master feedback thread for East Coastway Remastered ECW Remaster And Southern Class 171 & 377/3 - Out Now! Please keep all discussions only related to feedback, and provide the game platform you are using in any comments for feedback. Thank you! Known Issues for ECW Remastered We wanted to let you know of a few issues ahead of the release of the East Coastway Remastered route that we weren't able to fix ahead of launch, and will be arriving in our next core update. Berwick station announcements are too quiet You may notice a "NO Name: ECWTFCL37704carL" in the train spawn list for the 'Class 377/4 SN'. The prompt to switch to 'Immersion' mode during the introductions doesn't appear Class 66 locomotive loads in its default livery in the 'Livery Designer' menu When providing feedback, please always add the following details if possible: Platform (i.e.: PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One) Service/Scenario played when the issue occurred. Repeatability. How often does this issue occur? Images/Videos of the issue occurring. As always, thank you for your feedback.
Why do the new timetables only have rhtt for the 66 and no other freight. Im xbox so no remaster at the moment. Would that make a difference.
Class 313 announcements say "this is a *pause* service to Brighton..." rather than "this is a southern service to Brighton..." (Xbox)
Did you have the new addon installed? The new timetables are only available when you buy the new dlc. Its available for PS only right now. If you did buy the newest dlc then its a bug im afraid
Further to this, pressing the door lock button at Seaford in a guard mode service (would you even lock them or just leave them open for the return?) brings up a message about starting a new guard mode service. Of course you can close them manually
Right so I need the the 717 and 377 pack to get the other layers How does that work the other route layers should just layer in anyway with the (FREE) remastered. shame on you DTG
(PC) Class 313, Turning on of off the cab light with AWS enabled causes the AWS to clear as if you had passed a green signal
This addon includes 2 new timetables so the other time tables are from the original route. You have only a remaster without extra trains. Those are 2 seperate products.
That's always been the way. The 171/377 pack unlocks the new timetable. The remaster is free and you'll get automatically, but not the new timetable.
Just done in a run in the 313, the scenery and vegetation looks much improved. Now DTG Harry we just need Brighton Mainline given the same treatment please.
On class 377/3 on the East Coast Way, I’m currently playing on PlayStation 5 When the DSD goes off When you press circle to acknowledge it, it doesn’t work other than that. I’m really enjoying this route they’ve done a really good job I thought there was meant to be station announcements. I’ve not heard any yet. I’ve heard them at Brighton, but not any other stations.
Not much feedback in terms of the 171 and I'm very impressed with it... But a few things around the 377/3 on PS5: 1) The DSD pedal does not work causing emergencing braking to kick in. Ideally this should work like other trains where the AWS/DSD use the same button to reset in sync. 2) The tail lights are barely red and seem to light coloured to me. The lights should be a deeper shade of red, and the ones presently are very light in colour and barely resemble a shade of red. A deeper shade of red is suggested. 3) The headlight control panel shows all light option in red, rather than the correct colours selected (for example day lights show red on the control panel just like the tail lights). 4) As mentioned many times, but always worth a mention. Incorrect PIS font and display system.
2018 timetable ,class 377/4, Eastcoast way version. Job 5f80 part 1 instant ctd without warning just black screen as soon as you try to start. Xbox series x without remaster. And all the 313 depot moves start on un electrified rails. So how can you move them
Apart from the DSD issue I have to say, hats off to Liam once again for a fantastic remaster. I’ve just happened to do a 377/3, 171 and 700 run and experienced no blurry texture issues whatsoever. The fps is solid too, the remaster has not impacted performance. The timetable is great, so many choices on what to drive which I was not expecting. Also I’m very happy the Thameslink Class 700 has been shown some love too.
The scenery updates are very nice. There are many issues with the track rendering, which needs revisiting as it is not up to TSW6 standard: Platform PC Service/Scenario all. Repeatability. Render issues at every junction, missing track at Eastbourne. Images/Videos below. Rendering is bugged so that check rails are shiny (including on level crossings), and the tips of frogs are also shiny: Next, at Eastbourne there is a missing section of track adjacent to platform 1: I hope these issues can be fixed in the next patch
On the East coastway just outside Eastbourne station it’s at Eastbourne depot I don’t know why the tracks disappear it’s quite annoying bug it’s on service 5F78 eastbourne yard to Hastings part two and it’s on PS5
Overall it’s definitely a huge improvement over the original & it’s certainly been brought upto current standard. Unfortunately though it has been brought upto current standard which has brought with it usual QC & accuracy issues. IMO this comes across as having been time constrained, the section between Brighton & Lewes is markedly worse than Lewes > Eastbourne. The buildings around Brighton seem to conflict with ToD4 & as a result you see a lot of grey/white block windows - it really stands out going over the viaduct out of Brighton. The track cutouts are pretty stark in contrast to other things too, the grass is super low textured 2D stuff along the embankments. In Brighton station there’s a massive invisible wall that clips you out of the main building & into the air whilst in free cam, so you can’t really look around the concourse area or platform heads 7 through to 4. There are quite a few track joints that don’t appear to have any sound linked into them, but you still feel & see the jolt. This is intermittent from Brighton as far as Polegate. PIS seems to be bugged on several units for AI. 171’s show out of service, 313’s & 377’s seem to be 50/50 as to PIS being blank or not. There are some accuracy issues with the area still there, such as Polegate, the general area between Polegate & Hampden Park & other odd bits such as the Lewes foot bridge being a generic asset & the huge Eastbourne sign that should be on the station roof, at the platform head. Overall it’s a big improvement over what we had & nothing is critically wrong, but I think some extra time could have knocked out all of these issues. That being said it’s obviously free so understandable that any time spent on the content is more than owed & I certainly wouldn’t have bought the 171 pack without this substantial improvement on the route. Another big point here is that there’s finally a busy, current feature route that isn’t constrained by texture issues.
Yeah just did service 2f70 on the 377/3 had 5 emergency braking the last one was even after I disabled the vigilance. gave up after falmer
The onboard announcements dont always work. I drove from Brighton to Lewes class 377/3, it worked fine. Changed ends and started the return journey to Brighton. When departing Lewes ... no welcome onboard/departure announcements. It only started working from Falmer. Same for 171 service from Eastbourne to Brighton.. No welcome onboard/departure announcement when departing the station.. Only at polegate it started working. Edit: The welcomeonboard announcement only plays selecting a service starting at Brighton. All other starting points it only starts working at the next station.. I think its a bug?
I just tested this on the 171/7 and I had no problems with the DSD. Platform: PS5 Pro Not sure if it matters, but for reference I used the 2018 ECW timetable and drove the 1G21 service.
update: not related to this route. Seems like every 1st attempt to start the game endsup CTD on my xbox x. Still it is an issue though
You know what's extremely good about those remasters? You've get over 9000 fps and 0 stutters even on the first run.
