I am fully convinced the Scotsman‘s broken I’m trying to set off from Peterborough I have the small injector open. I have the large injector open. I have a 47 on the back as you do on rail tours, but I still can’t go I have 10 coaches in total with the class 47 on the back I’ve done everything right here what the hell is going on
Update closed the small injector worked though I’m pretty sure you have to keep the small injector open Update ok had to close the small injector and open it again now I’m on the move. Strange but we’re are on the move
If it’s one of the timetable services on ECML then they are using air braked coaches and you shouldn’t touch the ejectors at all.
Currently got a class 47 to help with power Scotsman doesn’t perform well on hills and apparently Straight sections even in lower gear so the class 47 is doing some of the work behind And yes I lose power On a straight section for some reason Despite being in low gear and the regulator at full
Its not possible! The 47 and the Flying Scotsman can not communicate with each other. There is no system that can give signals to the rear locomotive digital. In the early days steam locomotives uses their whistle to give signals when you have double header or sandwich trains. (One in the front and one in the rear). In TSW this is not implemented so its impossible that you have power from the 47 in the rear.
true but what i mean is switching cabs to the class 47 at the back putting it into fowards and using the throttle to help the Scotsman up hills this works I can vouch on that I have done this today on the ECML with AWS off of course not realistic but it gives helps with speed
