I am trying to drive the GWG HST but after 1 minute or so at 15mph the brakes are applying, after waiting 2 minutes timeout it still will not let me apply power but if I disable safety systems in both power cars I can release the brakes again but not apply power. I noticed in the back power car the TPWS brake demand light is now on, if I set up the rear cab and wait the two minutes it does not go out. How am I supposed to reset this and stop it from keep happening every time I use the HST?
I had the exact same issue when driving into or out of Old Oak at slow speed. I think this is the DSD causing an emergency brake. While I did not find out how to recover from that brake I found the following "workaround": press "Q" every 50 seconds (I put a repeating Alarm on my mobile phone) and I did not get any more braking. I assume the DSD is muted at low speed but still active in the background. While the first may be a feature the second is probably a bug.
Bit of an odd one, but make sure all safety systems are isolated in the rear power car and it should resolve this (had the same issue myself). It's not prototypical (but that HST is nothing like the real thing anyway - speaking as someone who drove them), so I guess the we just have to live with it!
