"Quick question: Is anyone on the forums getting a 502 Bad Gateway error?" Error comes up as 502 Bad Gateway nginx
Reading on the BBC News, there are a couple of Amazon data centres, one in the UAE the other Bahrain which have been damaged by Iranian drone strikes, so while unlikely there is the possibility any internet traffic routed that way could be affected, or the loss of some nodes could congest other parts of the network. Not really sure how that side of things work. Or it could just be the forum software needs a kick…
I think its more to do with the Internet and not DTG I had all over the weekend on every website I tried.
If that's the case I'll retract my comment, I thought it was an error on DTG's end clearly I was wrong.
I think its something to do with Internet providers servers getting over stretched with traffic. Like to many people using there networks.
Got to be Honest first time seeing that error, I have used the internet for years maybe they need more servers for the influx of traffic. But i'm sure the errors will Go away in time.
Yes I’ve been getting it for the last few days. Only happening with this one site/forum so not a general ISP or global network issue.
Hes right a specific error codes often denote high internet traffic or server overload, but not all of them do. HTTP error codes are divided into categories (4xx for client errors, 5xx for server errors) that indicate different root causes.
