When it is a red! The HUD shows yellow, yet the signal is at red, and will cause a SPAD if passed, despite the game telling you to proceed as signals indicate when you contact the signaller. This is on timetable 1G06 Ashford International to Brighton in Journey mode. Something similar happened to DTG Matt during his weekend live stream on Saturday I believe. The only fix is to go into the in-game map, delete the train already at Brighton, whereupon the HUD goes from yellow to green, and the signal changes from red to yellow, and it is now safe to proceed. DTG Harry Is this a known issue?
It’s because the shunt signal technically isn’t a “red”. So it shows as yellow on HUD. Same is you view the 2D route map. You’ll see the signal as yellow.
How does this explain why you SPAD when you pass it? If you don't delete the standing train at Brighton, you can't keep to the timetable!
