Loco Avanti West Coast Class 805 Add-on Feedback Thread

No this on the 805 timetable. On London/Milton Keynes

 

Having been playing more recently, actually was able to play one of the 805 services from Euston without experience a video memory error in the loading screen.

However, when playing another 805 service from Milton Keynes, just as I was arriving at Euston, another video memory error. For the time being, I might just return to the Intermodal WCML timetable as that doesn't have such performance issues - and at least there's more rolling stock variety etc.

 

Is bound for Edinburgh scenario playable yet on xbox. Thanks

Same has me i only noticed it today I thought strange wheres all the containers.

 

Same, I wondered that too. I've gone back to playing the Intermodal timetable.

 

I've gone back to playing the nuclear time the 805 timetable feels like there are things not right.

 

I'm guessing Cargo Line Vol 5 also has its own separate timetable then? I like the Class 20, but its lack of services is the thing that is very frustrating.

 

Agree bought thinking there would have been more services.

 

I think at least have the Class 20 as an option for RHTT services.

 

Yes would make it more value then . Plenty on nuclear services on shap but they use the 47.

Are we ever gonna get any response from dtg about the problems on xbox. And are they going be any fixes and patches to sort it out or have just swept under the carpet the rest that you give aa monkeys about.

 

No. It’s only about 6 months until TSW7. Which will [not] fix all your problems and probably not be a free upgrade.

My apologies if that is wildly off topic or negative etc but I am so unimpressed with DTGs lack of response to any download content issues.

 

Im with you on that one.

 

Their primary concern is getting out as much DLC as possible and selling as much of it as possible in the 'still fresh' window.

That is why you see a fair bit of interaction in the first week after content drop, with the promise of patches etc, which quite understandably entices more people in.

Then, when the money is cashed it is pretty much move on to the next bit.

I believe we may see some kind of patch for this at some point, but it will take a long time and still no way does everything get addressed.

Seems to work for them as a business model to be fair, just look at all the hype for this new Czech route and I can only imagine the state that is going to release in.

 

And that is why I tell people, buy it and try it but if it doesn’t work for you then get it refunded. Don’t wait for the promised patch. Refund it. If DTG et all see the money going back out it may evoke a sense of urgency in these patches.

 

Any news on a patch for the 805 for this problem of "memory leak" on Xbox, i still can't launch the first scenario without craching and most of the timetable is unplayable.

I just bought the 805. I understand that at this price, I can't expect all the bells and whistles of an expert loco. But why was the cruise control not implemented ? Every German loco with AFB has this feature, so where's the problem ??

If it is really too complicated for DTG to let the real next stop appear on this screen, better left that space blank...

Yes, the 802 and the 801 have this "feature" too, but c'mon this is TSW 6 and I didn't pay for a Copy And Paste loco...

Still not able to play this dlc at all it does is ctd on the loading screen. On xbox series x this is getting a little bit stupid now how can they not give crappp like this . When things like this happen and DTG are silent about it . Just what kind of company they really are.

 

DTG Harry DTG Alex morning guys did anyone find out why all the freight services on wcml south on the 805 timetable are running empty as in no containers on the wagons.

 

Has anyone been given an explanation for why when you turn the safety systems on an then put the key on you’re only told ‘AWS operational’ as opposed to ‘AWS & TPWS operational’ as per everything else with TPWS V4?
