Expert DB BR 145 from TSG – Coming Friday 13th March!
Now, who's up for challenge? The DB BR 145 from TSG is almost ready for release! As it's Friday 13th, we recommend staying at home to try your (potentially bad) luck with the Expert faults instead! We’ll have more details to follow with launch, but if you need a quick rundown, here’s what to expect with the new Expert 145.

The tutorials are detailed, with some unique interactive elements to guide players of all abilities through the complex operational requirements this Expert level locomotive.

The Expert DB BR 145 will release on Friday 13th March to Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Epic Games and Steam for €35.99/£29.99/$39.99.

Announcing Schnellfahrstrecke: Nürnberg - Ingolstadt from TSG
Continuing with the ever-busy TSG, we're now here announcing their third route; Schnellfahrstrecke: Nürnberg – Ingolstadt and Feucht.

This is the first ever German High Speed route, boasting an incredible 300km/h running speed with the ICE 3 and München-Nürnberg-Express. The route is famous for setting some speed records as with the Vectron achieving 357km/h on a test run!

Much of the route is down to the efforts of Corin ‘Pilot21’ who, after showing his capability through modding, became a large contributor of TSGs route building team for their previous Mittenwaldbahn and future Neckartalbahn add-ons.

For rolling stock, you can expect to see:
    • The standard DB BR 101 with München Nürnberg Express wagons and cab car:
    • Bpmmbdzf 286.3
    • Apmmz 126.1
    • Bpmz 295.4 * An ICE BR 403, with some slight tweaks to freshen it up.

The cab car for München Nürnberg Express will become ‘expert’ along with the DB BR 101 if you own the Expert DB BR 101 add-on.

Announcing the BNSF Snoot Nose SD40-2 from Adamovic Productions
Now, for our US fans - let's meet a brand new development partner; Adamovic Productions! This is a new team joining our ever-growing TSW family, currently working on the development of the BNSF Snoot Nose SD40-2!

These American locomotives were build between the 70s and 90s and share many similarities to SD40-2. There will be more info on this to follow, but for now, we've been provided with some screenshots and an introduction to Adamovic Productions; the new developer behind the SD40-2 Snoot Nose.

DB BR 147 - New Screenshots
Taking a look at Germany, we have a brief update on the audio for the upcoming DB BR 147, as well as some first in-game screenshots!

For audio, the team conducted a reference trip to capture the main sounds of the loco, such as traction motors, horns, brakes, bogies, hvac and pantograph, taken straight from the 147 itself to make it sound as realistic as possible.

That's all the new info we have for now, but we'll have further updates on the timetable and everything else included with this pack closer to release.

Class 90 from Alan Thomson Simulation
    [IMG]

The much-anticipated Class 90 is still continuing it's development process through ATS. Originally designed to boost the UK's electric rolling stock, the Class 90 has seen both passenger and freight services during it's 30 years of service - although it primarily runs freight nowadays!

The Class 90 timetable will be focused on West Coast Mainline: London - Milton Keynes, with services from Wembley Yard, Willesden and Camden Junction hauling shipping containers or other locomotives! Keep an eye out on Train Sim World 6 and the ATS website for future news.

Crewe – Preston from Just Trains
    [IMG]

Ey up! The Just Trains team have shared a wealth of new information about their upcoming Crewe – Preston route, this time with a major focus on the Class 20 and what its role will be in terms of gameplay.

Just Trains: “The Class 20’s in 1986 were regularly in action working out of Springs Branch Depot at Wigan, with pairs deployed on MGR circuits from both Bickershaw and Parkside Collieries, with the former requiring top and tail pairs of the class between Springs Branch and Bickershaw, allowing in our timetable for some unique and interesting gameplay as the constant shuffling means the area is a constant hive of activity. Beyond the MGR turns the Class 20’s also saw use on a number of other freights in the area, including local trip workings and stone trains from Peak Forest.”

“Visually the Class 20 has had a full exterior remap of the UV’s followed by a complete retexture from the ground up and we have also created BR Blue and Railfreight Grey liveries, along with loco specific details such as depot stickers, snowploughs and additional headlights etc. Audio has also seen attention with new traction motor blower sounds, blunt end and cab end horns, including a random third tone that is as per our reference locomotive. Additionally, the existing audio has also been tweaked and enhanced to provide an improved experience.”

“We’re really excited for people to have chance to utilise the vast array of locomotives in game, the variations included mean that you’ll never be sure what will turn up!”

You can read all the news, along with the full list of features for the Class 20, on Just Trains' blog.

    Tadami Line from Union Workshop
Union Workshop are continuing to progress on Train Sim World's first Japanese route; the Tadami Line.

This month we’ve been provided with more screenshots on the KiHa40, showcasing the windshield’s shape has been modified since we last saw it, and the guard key has been added for door operations. Union Workshop have also been working on refining textures for the exterior of the train. Check out some of the screenshots below!

We'll keep you updated on the latest news for Tadami Line, and more information when you can expect it coming your way!

Medway Valley Line from Firefly Simulations
Our very own James has been working with Firefly Simulations to bring you a new update for the upcoming Medway Valley Line, initially announced in week two of Season of Reveals 2025. The Firefly team have been making great progress with this route, but we'll let James take it from here!

DTG James: "Another Month, another Medway Valley update from yours truly! Back in February we showcased the latest progress on the route, which has continued to wrap up nicely, but we promised that March would offer an insight into the Class 375, so today, we will be digging into exactly that."
"First off, let’s hear from Charlie, who has been at the centre of the work done to bring the Class 375/3 and 375/6 to life in Medway Valley Line."

Charlie: "When I started working on the 375, I thought about all of the things, big or small, that other players would appreciate just as much as I would, and how to breathe some new life into the Electrostar."
"For starters, an entirely custom GSM-R system has been implemented, with a set of new and unique features catered to those who want a more immersive experience. For those playing in Expert Mode, you will get to input the headcode of your train and the signal code your train is standing at when you start a service. You can also call the signaller and they will verbally speak to you and give you instructions. When making a call, it also will display the name of the local signaller on the radio."

"Another new feature is the ability to receive an emergency call, and you will get to experience this in one of the scenarios."

"Next, a unique take on the Guard Mode experience - working CCTV cameras! At the guard panel, there is a small screen that cycles through each carriage when it's active. If you have Expert Mode enabled, you will be able to see this in action, keeping an eye on passengers boarding and alighting your train to ensure safety."

"Another new feature for the cab is operable MCB switches on the back wall. Here, you are able to toggle several of the systems on the train, including but not limited to the GSM-R, traction, lighting, ventilation, and wiper fuses. Stay vigilant however, as these may occasionally trip!"

"For the passenger experience, a custom onboard announcement system has been implemented, reflecting the pattern of Southeastern's real announcements. You may also hear a unique announcement play as you approach Beltring, warning passengers about the narrow platforms."

"You can now also use the handles by the exterior cab doors to open them. Pull them to open the door, and slide the door shut again. After you've entered the cab, perhaps take a moment to try the handle underneath the driver's seat...?"

"For those who enjoy observing the trains from the outside, you can enjoy some new third rail sparking visuals. The colours of these sparks range from blue to orange, with each having unique characteristics. Blue sparks won't fly as far or not at all, while orange sparks will fly further, but will be slightly dimmer."

"We're not done here yet though! There are still some more surprises waiting that we can't wait to show off."

DTG James: "Thank you, Charlie! There certainly is a lot to look forward to and already this list makes it the most comprehensive Electrostar to date - but that’s just the beginning! What really brings the experience together is the sounds. As one of the most common train families in England, many of us know an Electrostar when we hear one, and keen to bring that to life is Luc, who you may also know online as ItsYa165, who was brought on board to give the 375 some attention, let’s see what he has to say."

Luc: "When I was approached to replace the project’s Electrostar audio, I decided to go all out. This involved months of meticulous editing in Audacity, using the spectrogram to scrub background noise from recordings of switches, door drives, HVAC units, etc. But players will be most focused on driving audio – the sounds the train makes when it’s dynamic."

"That placed traction audio as the primary focus. To capture the Electrostar’s Mitrac converter operation accurately, I used 1000mH inductor pickup coils alongside my usual microphone. This simultaneously recorded both acoustic noise and electromagnetic waveforms across various pulse modes: from its initial 1000Hz asynchronous carrier, all the way into the synchronous regime with its full-block commutation. I developed a custom blueprint to manage these sounds, including separate motor audio for interiors, exteriors, and motoring versus braking modes."

"To further enhance immersion, I implemented wet versus dry wiper sounds, and a massive library of flange, joint, and rolling sounds. A new blueprint triggers air spring sounds (secondary suspension) as you turn sharply through a corner. Immense optimisation has gone into the Electrostars for this add-on in order to achieve this high-fidelity. And with the number of Electrostars in the game now, these would be the “one ring to rule them all” audio experience."

DTG James: "From having played with it a lot already, the 375 is truly something special, which makes driving, conducting or riding along the valley a fantastic experience, and I can’t wait for all of you to get your hands on it too! I have a feeling it won’t be too much longer until we can share more details, but that’s enough from me today."

Thank you to DTG James and Charlie and Luc from Firefly Simulations for the comprehensive info on Medway Valley! We're excited to see more updates on this, and if you are too, make sure to keep an eye out on further details in future roadmaps!

West Coast Mainline: Trent Valley from All Aboard Studios
We have a further update from All Aboard Studios on the progress on their Litchfield Trent Valley route. This more comprehensive update covers route hopping, gameplay experience, timetable details and scenarios.

AABS: “As part of the upcoming West Coast Mainline release, All Aboard Studios and Just Trains have confirmed collaboration at Crewe to ensure you can seamlessly route hop between Trent Valley and Crewe to Preston. All Aboard Studios working with Dovetail Games to also ensure route hopping is applied to Euston Milton Keynes and Cross City to ensure a smooth transition between routes back and forth at Lichfield Trent Valley and Milton Keynes Central.”

“The timetable has been carefully constructed to reflect the intensity of this section of the West Coast Main Line. In total there are 2,301 services across the full day, with 478 playable services drawn from 35 layers. High-speed intercity, regional stopping services and a substantial freight presence combine to create a dense and believable operating environment. The Class 390 leads with 135 playable services, supported by Class 805 and 807 diagrams, extensive Class 350 commuter workings and a broad mix of freight traction.”

“Comprehensive tutorials for the Class 350/4 and Class 807 are included at the Training Centre. These provide a thorough introduction to each unit, covering start-up procedures, passenger door operations and coupling and uncoupling where applicable, ensuring you are fully prepared before heading out onto the fast lines. There is even an introduction to the route itself for those who may be unfamiliar with this stretch of the West Coast Main Line."

"We have also recreated the well-known Heamies Farm lineside location, complete with a dedicated spawn point. If you are in the mood for a bit of trainspotting, there is no better place to take it all in without the need to drive there first. From this vantage point you can simply stand back and watch the constant flow of intercity, commuter and freight traffic on the fast lines, made even more immersive by the new AI horn functionality as approaching expresses sound out across the fields before racing past.”

“The route also features a series of characterful collectibles hidden across the map. Rogue wheelsets pay tribute to the historic Wolverton Works, Rugby balls appear in recognition of the town where the sport was born, and the Tamworth Spud makes its own unmistakable appearance along the line, if you know, you know.”

“We are incredibly proud of what the team has built with WCML: Trent Valley. It captures the pace, pressure and operational complexity of this famous stretch of railway, while still leaving room to explore and appreciate the detail along the line. We look forward to welcoming you aboard the Trent Valley very soon.”

All Aboard Studios are also continuing their work on the Class 70, which they are hoping to share an update on in the coming months, so be sure to check on future roadmaps and community spaces for more information further down the line.

An Update on Lisbon Setúbal from VirtuaVia360
Our development partners at VirtuaVia360 have been continuing work on their Lisbon Setúbal Route, but they have unfortunately had a couple of issues which have caused delays to the development. The team have provided us with the following statement, which explains further:

VirtuaVia360: “First of all, we would like to apologise for the delay of our DLC. These last few months have been very tough for us - we ran into some serious server issues on our end which caused constant issues in coordinating our work, sometimes even putting at risk much of recent work done. Fortunately, we've made enough backups to not delay our progress even further. However, we have had some of our key members sick and some also impacted by the recent weather storms.”

“It has been a challenging period, therefore it has delayed our progress. That said, we're still here and fully committed. The development is continuing at a very steady pace, and thanks to that, we've got some new screenshots to show you!”

“Thank you for sticking with us - your support and feedback is very important for us.”

    Rhein Neirs Bahn from FolezzWorld
    [IMG]

Initially announced during our 2025 Season of Reveals, Rhein Neirs Bahn has received its first roadmap update from FolezzWorld, who have further information on the ongoing development of the route.

FolezzWorld: “I can speak for the whole team when I say we were all very happy with the reaction behind the first announcement for the Rhein Niers Bahn! We have continued working very hard building this route and trying to bring it to perfection. Scenery, vegetation more between Duisburg and Rheydt is almost complete. It needs to go through a few checks to make sure we are happy with how it stands and to ensure we bring you the best possible quality whilst we shift to finishing up Industrial areas like Duisport.”

“Dion has also been very busy on the Rail Network and Gameplay side of things, and we now have a timetable full with of passenger services on the route (including AI). We’ll be working on including realistic freight and, of course, some special services for the BR145 which is to come soon from the TSG team. Signalling is now also complete with full ZS2/3 functionality, along with OHLE which is almost complete along the whole route. We are very excited for when we can show more!”

Keep an eye out for further updates on Rhein Niers Bahn from the team at FolezzWorld in future roadmaps and in community spaces.

State of the Game Update – March 2026
Last month, we shared our first State of the Game update, providing key insights to improvements that are fundamental to the TSW experience. We're back to continue a monthly, candid insight into where we're at with both of these outlined issues, keeping you informed of our latest progress, next steps coming up in the months ahead, and the latest delivery expectations.

PS5 Add-on Mounting Issues [Ongoing] – Initial Improvements In Testing
Our team have submitted a first set of fixes that help alleviate the limitations we've seen on PlayStation platforms particularly, but with some improvements we hope also benefit all platforms.

A notable example of this work, is removing the dependency of Frankfurt S-bahn's BR 423 from the recently released Stuttgart Heilbronn route, and instead including the layer natively with the add-on. This work frees up the need to load Frankfurt S-bahn as a dependency, helping free up 24GB's of space that build up to the limitations, and therefore the missing add-ons and services we've seen reported by players.

These initial improvements still need testing, and following review, our teams still think further solutions will be required for a more significant improvement. We're now understand and scoping our this work, and in the short-term finding opportunities to make smaller improvements to reduce the dependency limit being overwhelmed, through smarter content loading optimisations.

The original timeline for a resolution in February 2026 wasn't a target we were able to hit, and as we undergo testing, we're staying cautious to committing on a new delivery window whilst we manage expectations of what these first improvements could resolve, and then look at how we can get them into your hands.

Current Status: Initial improvements have been submitted for testing, however more time will be required to assess their impact and the delivery date players can expect. Ideally, initial improvements would be headed your way in the coming months, if we're able to see positive results from our testing.

    Blurred Textures & Optimisation [Ongoing]
As a larger part of the wider community conversation, improvements to help resolve blurred textures and optimisation remain in testing.

As a reminder, due to the nature for these improvements being partly core, and partly add-on dependent, it’s something we need to assess individually for released content, and it’s important to note that some add-ons are impacted more than others, meaning that we can and will aim to prioritise add-ons which tend to pass the “texture memory budget” at a higher frequency, from community reports and our testing.

For those of you who noticed our unintentional update to Southeastern High Speed at the end of February, which we've seen reverted, you'll have seen discussions about the work from the Firefly Simulation team, that are aiming to bring a multitude of improvements to the route at a future date. These updates also included an early version of optimisation enhancements that the team are working on, that we're hoping offer us insights and learnings for greater game stability moving forwards, including the reduction of blurred textures. These improvements aren't ready just yet, but following on from our above mention that these improvements are add-on dependant, we're using SEHS as a chance to understand and visualise how these improvements are making a difference, and ensure future releases are more efficiently-developed.

To close off for this month's update, and remain candid, we're unlikely to deliver these improvements to you in March, and we understand that delay is frustrating. However, whilst we don't have a set of improvements we can share at this stage, we are constantly making further optimisations to upcoming add-ons and content being tested by our teams, so that any new releases are impacted as little as possible.

Current Status: Testing and optimisations continue, however our original March aim is unlikely to be kept due to the complexity, and the fact different routes have been impacted more than others. Our initial tests on the SEHS route are also something we're hoping to share with you soon. We'll keep you updated on delivery times in each monthly Roadmap.

    Patches and Updates

    Stuttgart Improvements
Mentioned in previous roadmap livestreams, and earlier in State of the Game, Frankenbahn: Stuttgart - Heilbronn is being updated to include a DB BR 423, removing the requirement for Frankfurt S-Bahn, and therefore natively including over 400 services in both the original 2000 and the DB BR 147’s 2018 timetables. Not only that, but it has also been amended to reflect Stuttgart S-Bahn condition, making the services more realistic than just using the Frankfurt one.

And that’s not all either! As part of the improvements, a further wagon was copied into core, removing the requirement for Ruhr-Sieg Nord as a layer, and also copied into the route, and implemented into the original 2000 timetable, is the mint n-Wagens from Linke Rheinstrecke - adding a mixed-livery touch to regional services and making it feel much more authentically turn-of-the-Century.

Improvements to the Santa Fe on Cajon Pass Gameplay Pack
Based on valuable feedback from players, the High Iron Simulations team have undertaken significant improvements and fixes to the Santa Fe on Cajon Pass Gameplay Pack. This update is expected to be released soon, and will include more than 40 total refinements and fixes to the locomotives, rolling stock, and gameplay elements of the pack.

    Among the key changes are:
    • Full usability of locomotives and rolling stock in the livery and formation designers.
    • Functional in-cab EOTD read-outs in the SD40-2 and C40-8W.
    • Various visual and animation refinements to locomotives and rolling stock.
    • Corrected cab configuration and enhanced engineer control stand for the GE C40-8W including AT&SF-specific console design with digital speedometer.

Gameblast26 Celebration - Another Fantastic Year!

If you missed it, at the end of February last month, our Executive Producer Matt hosted another GameBlast marathon event over the weekend on the TrainSimWorld channel, playing TSW6 for a staggering 29 hours and 6 minutes and together we all helped raise over £5200 (the additional is included when you add GiftAid and Dovetail matched funding).

And to further celebrate the whole community, from just our GameBlast events, which we started back in 2023, we've now hosted seven total livestream weekends, and all your combined efforts have resulted in over £32,000 being donated to Special Effect! This money completely transforms the lives of so many individuals who need it most, and find themselves limited due to their physical disabilities, as well as the Special Effect team being able to carry on this wonderful work.

Really excited for Medway now. It sounds fantastic, it looks great, I love the interaction with the GSMR. You can really tell the lengths firefly have gone too!

Also loving the look of the changes for the class 20 it's about time the 20 got some love like this!

The Apmmz is an unusual choice for Munich-Nurnberg though (only just discovered any were in this livery!). Will be getting this in its original use, to boost the IC rakes?

It is not. It's in the "Improvements" box which is always just outside of everything since it needs to fit somewhere on this graphic.
Also there's the QA-limbo, so it'll be TSW7 even if it were ready by Johannes in the next three months. If we're lucky.

Never heard of Adamovic Productions before, but their SD40-2 is looking decent so far, as well as the boxcar. Only shame is no patched ATSF but it'll be interesting to see where they go.

But that HIS GP35, yikes. That doesn't look good at all. I know its still wip, but it looks extremely rough right now....

Well, I won't spare you my usual two (or more?) cents :)

Another TSG route?? Totally crazy, hope they don't spread themselves too thin over too many projects at once.
I'm not that much of a highspeed freak myself although I enjoy the occasional ICE ride. Ingolstadt-Nürnberg sure is a good choice for that. Very hyped for Nürnberg Hbf, and the München-Nürnberg-Express coaches!

Rhein-Niers continues to look very promising! Judging by the screenshots, release might not be too far in the future :)

The changes and improvements for Stuttgart-Heilbronn are the highlight of this roadmap for me personally. Having the mint n-Wagen and a native (and localised!) 423 both are very good choices to add to the immersion.
I've grown to love the route quite a bit but sadly the stuttering in the Stuttgart area (or is it because of the name?) dampens the experience a little. Glad to see something is being done about it. Can't wait!
Did I miss it or has no date been given when this will go live? Hmm.

Oh yeah, and Wonders of Sodor will be out soon! Hooray! Kidding

As a PS5 user, some (most) of this content looks really interesting, but those fixes really need to be expedited. More content only makes the biggest issues worse, and even then we’re seeing every release subject to a caveats of “X is missing due to time constraints” or “X will be fixed in a later update”.

There really needs to be more effort in ironing out issues with ‘release ready’ content.

Disappointed…. Delayed the blurry textures update. I think I speak for every console player when I say we were looking forward to this month and again nothing… not even 1 map who get an update.
TSW 6 is the game where this bug need to fix. U can’t reveal any upcoming TSW game until this is fixed. Otherwise it is like a slap into the face of every console player player.

I think the new TSG route is what was hinted in the 145 stream when asked about any updates to layering the 101 Expert. If this 101 and cabcar also have the IC livery version included, then they can be used for timetable layering where substitution might finally work for the entire consist since it will include a cabcar as opposed to the HRR 101 pack. I still wish the cabcar was added by DTG into that pack as well since now that DLC will probably become useless for new content layering and it will need the new TSG route to be owned instead.

Happy about the Stuttgart changes, the question is why this couldnt have been done for the release. I feel like there are more reasons behind than just the PS5 stuff, more probably extra delays on the 420 by TSG or a change in approach how they will layer in.

Same studio that made these for Trainz, I think.
If these models are theirs, it's filling me with a lot of hope that we'll finally get good US freight diesels!

    My thoughts:

    - Disappointed about the blurred textures and ongoing optimisation unlikely for any improvements in March. Was feeling rather optimistic, but perhaps they shouldn't have announced a specific timeframe so soon if it's such a complex task. This has got to be sorted soon though, otherwise what's the point to keep playing this game if the experience is ruined significantly, especially for newer content which I should be very much looking forward too without worry.
    - Nuremburg-Ingolstadt is a very nice surprise, so quite excited. However, would liked to have seen a brand-new ICE 4 or ICE 3neo, plus a real shame not to Munich.
    - NY-Stamford looks very good. I've always been a big fan of Harlem Line, plus NY-Trenton etc, so this will complement nicely.
    - While the DB 147 for Stuttgart will be a great addition, what worries me slightly is the current route is very frustrating on console, namely video memory errors and blurred textures.
    - Medway Valley continues to sound amazing and really impressed with the 375. One comment, however, I don't really understand: "And with the number of Electrostars in the game now, these would be the “one ring to rule them all” audio experience." Is this stating the sounds will be the best of the rest? Or that other Electrostar models in TSW will also be updated sound-wise?
    - Trent Valley I should be excited for, however continuing issues plague current content like the 805 timetable for WCML South being mostly unplayable on console due to video memory errors which is completely unacceptable and hasn't impressed me at all. So my enthusiasm is lacking until significant improvements are implemented for current content!
    - Lisbon Setúbal looking fantastic so far and perhaps actually might be the thing that most excites me as it's very unique - and showing my support for VirtuaVia360, take as long as you need.
    - The wait for Tadami Line seems to go on and on, but at least it's now in the 0-3 months category thankfully.

    I stand corrected.

Though my ominous response about the QA-limbo still stands. As much as I want to be excited about that shift, the BR420 having made that shift backwards last month and the overall state of processes and things simply can't make me say something optimistic at the moment.

I've asking, I've begged, to make a hapless New Canaan branch for NY – Stamford route – but DTG are deaf to pleading, your bunny wrote!

I will be happy to put a negative review on Steam, cattle

That's a double-edged sword. On one side, it would be great to be able to take the München-Nürnberg-Express on its entire run, and switching from a semi-high speed half to a really fast one at the midpoint would be neat to differentiate this one from Kassel-Würzburg a bit more. Plus, one more route hopping opportunity.
On the other side, this would have become a rather long route, rivalling Kassel-Würzburg in length, with two huge stations at the ends. Unless DTG really pulls through with those mentioned performance improvements, I doubt most player would be happy with the performance on that route at this point ;)

While I am disappointed by the lack of news on the Neckartalbahn, since Lukas said in December that they've got lots more of new screenshots to share and he's looking forward to, it hasn't been mentioned once over 3 roadmaps. While it's a further down the line release I understand that there might not be much to share, since a big part of that DLC is a core update of the steam simulation which is still ongoing, the anticipation was created and is not fulfilled in the slightest in the roadmap.
That being said, there are some news which could be shared regarding this DLC: TSG are doing a recording trip with the BR 23 next month as Lukas said on stream. So it could've been a short paragraph with one or two new screenshots and that info. Afterall a sound recording trip was worth mentioning for the upcoming BR 147, for the already released Stuttgart - Heilbronn route back in November, MBTA Commuter back in 2024 and so on.

I am looking forward to the Medway Line as the only non continental european DLC though. Despite having lost hope on all other "nice to have" non-continental european DLC, reading who's doing the sounds for the Electrostar now has tipped the needle on the scale far enough to let me to believe it's gonna be the first TSW DLC to not need any modding by the community since most british well-known modders are creating the whole thing in the first place. I don't know the route IRL or the trains, but I know I'll enjoy this one.

I can't wait to discover the Czech route tomorrow, as well as the M8 on New York–Stamford, and to find out more about the Portuguese route! It was finally time to approach the release of the Tadami line; it feels like we've been waiting for years :) Interesting for the Schnellfahrstrecke Nuremberg - Ingolstadt, but I'm really disappointed not to see the ICE 4 or ICE 3 Neo.

Excellent month and roadmap, but unfortunately my dream of a new French route has still not come true.

Wait, so the München-Nürnberg Express is also going to be an expert for those like me who own it?

And I see that a new wagon is included, which may be the service wagon still missing in the Br101 Expert DLC.

What service wagon? The Apmmz 126.1 and Bpmz 295.4 are newly built for this route and only come in the MÜNEX livery. The cab car seems to be a slimmed down version of the Expert one but in red which will be an Expert one in red if you also own the 101 Expert. Nothing to add to the Expert IC though.

Not really too demanding imo- the branch is in the TSC version, so i don't see why it's left out for TSW.

I really WANT this to be good, but i'm a little nervous it will be more like Trenton than Morristown in terms of quality.

No freight shown in screenshots yet, no confirmation of the ACS-64 being updated to TSW6 standard, etc.

Hope i'm wrong since if it's good, i'll put a ton of time into it!

The changes to Stuttgart-Heilbronn are very welcome too.

Well in the next 0-3 months I’m looking at/interested in:
    WCML Crewe-Preston
    GWR HST farewell pack
    Medway Valley Line
    Class 90

Plus already have Mildmay, so will look out for the extension.

There is an issue what's the Nuremberg route they should have actually added 1440 for S5 and 102/1462s for RE services

I think the Update for Stuttgart - Heilbronn is Good… but use this update please for Schwabstrasse… only two stations to Drive the complete S5… it is much more realistic… no Train driver Switch for 2 Stations and and 3 Minutes..

The Rest of the Roadmap is very Good *.*

Loving these monthly roadmap posts, the format is clear, informative and a pleasure to peruse. Thanks to all involved, it must have taken a lot of effort to gather all this information.

Hate to burst your bubble, but that will never happen. The devs already explained it would take a serious amount of light baking on two additinal stations which are close to each other which the game simply can't handle or rather our hardware, especially consoles but PCs as well.

Also it would take a month to build all that, do the light baking and another 2 month of QA and testing.

I like how the overhead wires on the drawbridge was done correctly but the ballast shouldn't be there as it would just fall off when the bridge goes up.

Interesting Roadmap and some good stuff to come. Hot takes…

Unless I missed something, there is still no UK route from DTG (or their 2P Rivet) on the Roadmap. Complete reliance now on 3P content. So either they don’t have route builders anymore, or they are all engaged on the TSW7 UK route.

Another TSG route - h’mm would have preferred a decent secondary diesel main line like Eifelbahn or Obereruhrtalbahn than a high speed route. One for a deep sale only.

Tadami, ha! Will believe it when I see it.

Reading between the lines, the Portuguese route might be foundering a bit but hopefully they can rally the project.

And the Class 104 remains dead as a dodo despite still no official confirmation it’s cancelled.

I agree, Eifelbahn would definetly a great german Diesel Hauptstrecke!

Really excited for the HS line from TSG, after the Kassel-Wurzburgh another line where run at full speed it's nice for me. Obviously I'll buy also the Nekar line to run slowly and smokey alongside the river!

Didn't understand the difference between the actual cabcar ant the new one....

TSG's Nürnberg-Ingolstadt sounds interesting, a new standard BR 101 and Cab Car with automatic substitution for there Expert Version.

I also think the Stuttgart-Heilbronn update is great; I just hope we don't have to wait too long for it.
