Not ideal as it doesn't have the function keys which you need to turn off the HUD elements. I got myself a wireless keyboard on eBay for £11 which has all the keys and isn't too big to sit on your lap whilst you drive with the controller. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TeckNet-...B-Dongle-For-PC-Laptop-Smart-TV-/264408840213
I'm not entirely sure it would. I'd agree with Tonto those type of keyboards are fine for typing in chat windows but (if it did work) you'd lose a lot of functionality when used with TSW. Since it's ease and access to these functions you're after it's better to go for a usb version. Cheaper too! A keyboard, while not necessary, definitely adds to the overall experience.
I have an old bluetooth mac keyboard lying around somewhere. Gonna give that a try. Expecting some troubles as it's an azerty keyboard... Also, the one thing that I want to use it for is to quickly transport myself to the driver position on the other side of the train. Would come in so handy in setting up trainlights an such. I know that it's possible, I've seen Matt do it in his YT vids. Only thing is, I can't seem to find the key combo for that. I looked in a couple of manuals, but that function is never listed. Do you guys know what the key combo is for that?
Ctrl +/- swaps ends. Although that might not work on your Mac keyboard. Yes it is a useful function. I thought it would be great to use it on my 6 car class 101 dmu last night but it only put me in the cab of the 2nd unit! I gave up and walked in the end.
