Havn't noticed the button yet, but you can see something similar happening with the stuff inside the breaker cabinet.
first ride with 843 successfully done... so... the controls are a little bit to get used to, but overall, super enjoyable ride... cos of the speed changes, gradients, radio channel changes, constant vigilance, nice scenery, tons of twists and turns... very engaging... even got a couple times when I was adding power too fast and it just tripped oh, I almost forgot - it has got the chill of Niddertalbahn, but the overall lengths of services are nice bit of riding, and I had done only a R service, will try Os services next havent done any 750, but since I am more into passenger stuff, will probably take a couple days till I get to that one
You are not supposed to use the high-pressure whip / "quick release" for more than fraction of a second. To recover, drain the pipe completely through emergency brake, then head into the machine room and in the opposite (non-through) corridor, open the middle of three red valves until you hear all the air leave the system.
PS5 Pro Is it just my personal feeling, or is the map overexposed during the day, so-called overexposed?
I might have had a similar issue, however without cruise control. Still it might be the same issue, so worth a try. For me it was related to the safety system (LS90), specifically activating it incorrectly. I was able to fix it by deactivating it and then correctly activating it again. To activate first turn the switch into the "Start" position. Wait a moment until the small light next to it turns green and only then turn it into the "On" position. I also did this after activating the master key, setting the reverse to forward and the brakes to "cut-in" (I'm not sure if activating LS90 after these is strictly required).
Is anyone else having difficulty with the brakes? Even if brakes are released and pressure is on 5 bar, on gentle downhill I still need to use step 3 of the power to even keep the speed. Is there a parking brake I am missing to release, as I was susceptible of forgetting to release that in the 294 which spawns with it on. Also doing Mn62402 - Part 1, and I am stuck with the last instruction, with a "Blue" Red signal, and the message "Train is already in section" on requesting approval from the signaller. An 843 came and went and I am still waiting for the signal for more than 10 minutes. It was supposed to be a 22 min timetable run so something is definitely off. Now I have deleted every other train I could see around and it still didnt unlock. Sadly it seems like unless one drives like a maniac, the timings mess with the signaller and deadlock things. LE: what I found by forcing the signal. I can pass the "Blue" but the path is set incorrectly, still routing me into the sidings with the oil tanker dropoff, instead of the main line. Then I get a message of signal passed on danger for something invisible in that section. I wonder if I managed to stop on the points, clearing the objective but the dispatcher was unable to set a path and freaked out. Sadly I don't have the mental capacity to try the entire service from the start to confirm, already had to retry it 2 times for running a red when reversing and being too close to the signal.
That's general TOD4 lighting on PS5. Most daytime conditions look like a nuclear blast. Dusk and dawn conditions in TOD4 look very well though.
It seems to me that it is more noticeable on this map ... we tried driving with Desiro and it is not possible, the dashboard is completely burnt white ... that is not the case on the Maintahlbahn, I tried to compare it and Preston - Carlisle, I don't have such feelings there at all
WTF is happening when you try to brake in the snow? You just can’t get this thing to brake normally… The 843 brakes perfectly fine without snow, but in snow it behaves completely bizarre. I guess there’s something wrong with this train. The adhesion is totally buggy and I’ve never experienced any other train in TSW behaving like this. Just to be clear: a train does not behave any differently in snow than it does in rain. That’s really a misconception. It’s not like a car that starts sliding on snow and ice. I have the feeling they set it up with diffrent behaviour on snow then in rainy conditions. The problem is that adhesion is extremely difficult to simulate in a game, and honestly it’s better to use it only sparingly. The point is: you don’t feel what the train is doing you’re sitting in an office chair, not in a real cab so you completely miss the physical feedback that tells you how the wheels are gripping. In all other trains in TSW I’ve never experienced anything this negative, and I’m very experienced. But the way it’s implemented on the 843 right now is just not acceptable, so please fix this ASAP
One of the rares most annoying flaws I found with this DLC is the FPS drop in certain areas, and even though I play locked at 30 FPS, I sometimes drop to 20/15.
A Bit Of Shunting - Part 1 Generate Braking Report Issue Hello. This scene is almost complete, but why is the final report generated hundreds of meters underground instead of inside the locomotive's cab? Could this be fixed?
Seen some reports on FB regarding this. Make sure the brake handle is in release not Neutral. I’m currently running downhill and the train is accelerating without power even on a 1 in 300/0.3% downhill.
Try pressing "brake cylinder release" on the control desk when the brakes are "stuck" like that. It's #24 in the manual. It has worked for me so far. Not sure what triggers the stickiness though- overcharging maybe?
Thought I’d pop this in here as potentially positive feedback. Might just be my imagination but could this be the first TSW route to have “clatter/rumble” going across rail over road etc. bridges as well as the reverb for over bridges and tunnels? I’m convinced I’m hearing something.
No, just hovering on there spot, in the Eletric-Cabinet on rearwall are a few round buttons below. Maybe it's only one model that has this issue. I will check it very soon.
It's absolutely there! Sounds better on the 843 than the 750 imo but both are good. Also, the odometer in the 750 works (not sure if accurate but still a neat detail)!
Loving this route more and more as i play, which is rare for me. Here's a few pics from an early morning (0558 iirc) R14 service from Liberec-Stara Paka using today's date. The 843 is so fun to drive!
Feedback Conductor mode: After few stops with tutorial, which work well (1. blow whistle, 2. doors close), the driver closes the doors automatically before whistle and I am not able to board the train. (He then waits for the whistle to depart.) Probably global issue, tested on the first morning service R from Liberec at 4:00.
PS5 Pro Can anyone finish the scenario Can you fix it? I would say that there is a similar problem as in the scenario with the brake report .........
PC - Steam Scenario - Can You Fix It? Issue - Objective to change cab radio to channel 71 doesn't complete. Marker to complete appears in random places hundreds of metres away. The one video I've seen of someone attempting this scenario shows the same thing
One thing I do have a question about is the rail gradient. It says 13-15% coming out of Liberec. Given the HP/ton ratio that can't be right. The consist is having no problem with it and it's at maybe 2hp/ton. Given similar experience on other routes, that feels like it's about 1/10th of that... maybe 1.3 to 1.5%? Is it a decimal point off? Or is it a different sort of calculation?
Not percentage but per mille ---> is what you see as the gradient unit. (No clue, why). So, yes it's 1.3% to 1.5% to stay with your example.
The more I play, the more I'm astonished how much detail there is, not only on the track, but also off the track. I.e. roads, they look like roads IRL. Signage, surface marking, it's all there. Motorways have merging lanes, railwayr crossing are proper crossing, not just a road crossing the tracks, pedestrian crossing have proper markings. The effort that went into this is obvious, like the parking lot near Turnov station. You have one surface in the general area, and then cobblestones in the parking spaces, and the whole thing nicely merges onto the streat. Even if you don't notice all the details consciously, subconsciously you do, and it is these detail that make it feel like Czech railway feels. I'm more than happy paying increased price with this level of detail
Xbox Series X: I asked for and received a refund. The route is really well-made, but as I feared, the dense vegetation negatively impacts the framerate, especially when the headlights are on (the same issue I encountered with the Mittenwaldbahn). For me, smoothness is essential.
2 issues: 1. Intense pop in and fade in of foliage which I've improved with a modified godmode mod - I see this as inevitable while the game is still being offered to xbox users (no problem with that) but it would be nice for pc users to have in built settings to change draw distance, shadow resolution etc. without resorting to mods. 2. Still getting train faults on the passenger train even though train faults are disabled
The scenario is impossible to complete. I couldn't complete it because of this bug. I see many others have the same problem. But that's all, silence. I don't know if this will be fixed.
Is there are way to spawn the different livery versions of the 750 on free roam on PS5? All I can see is one option. And is timetable mode was is the difference between the first 3 green versions?.
Hello! I think I've mentioned this before, but sometimes we're unable to respond to comments quickly/at all depending on scope. However, I can confirm that this has been logged. But for everyone else silence ≠ the issue hasn't been logged.
We had some Xbox Series S players had this issue. If anyone on XBX has a video of this happening, I can add that to the ticket as I've only got footage from XBS
Feedback: One more general issue: Freight and shunting services have often objective marks unreasonably close to the stop signal. (Like really around 1 m, you can't even see the signal from cab anymore.) In reality, drivers always stop the train further ahead of the signal, it's safer. (Unless it is needed for train and track length reasons, of course.)
System - PC So... As a part of my wandering around collecting brake shoes (I say collecting, I've sort of tripped over some of them as they can be easy to miss). Anyway, I came across this signal at KM 143.0 (Rychnov u Jablonce) It is at the end of a dead end siding.. Should it be there?
Fault setting only affects generation of random event faults, but faults induced by incorrect driving techniques (eg. no electric brake when coming directly from throttle) will always be there.
I hope they fix it because you can't finish the masters, you won't even finish the journey, but most importantly you won't enjoy it......
PS5 Pro The Bit of shunting - Part 1 scenario cannot be completed The last step, issuing a report on the brakes, is not completed and thus the scenario is not closed and the player is not given a rating. The report appears in the locomotive, but the step is not executed by the system and it incorrectly shows a distance of several hundred meters somewhere underground. The Can You Fix It scenario also cannot be completed. When performing the set channel to 71 step, the system does not execute, it starts showing a distance of several hundred meters to nowhere and during the way to Liberec it does not jump to the next steps of the scenario and thus it cannot be completed. Both of the above have an effect on the acquisition of Mastery and Journey but mainly spoil the experience of the game, please DTG, provide a fix. Thank you
Just having my first run in the 843. Even coming from the 612/G2/294 combined power/brake lever, this one acts weird. Firstly I couldnt get the train moving no matter what, then messing with the computer screen seemed to unlock whatever was blocking. The tutorial mentions confirming the train formation, which I did before even trying to apply power. Another thing, I had it happen both in the tutorial and my service run. Randomly the set power goes down to zero. I had not touched any controls whatsoever. It is also not the vigilance triggering as it wasnt even turned on. Anyone has any idea for this one? What am I doing wrong, as the manual is not helping much besides confirming that I am in the correct handle position.
It's a IRL bug From the manual: What I have found is that it trully mostly happen if you do big power increases at a time. This would drive me crazy, but it kind of demonstrates that train systems are not so refined and reliable as sims make them to be.
Two and a half more Feedbacks. 1. Turnov – Trains to/from Prague are not shown at the platform PIS displays. (Black panels.) 2. This is lovely. Left front window of 843 has inverted gravity. See GIF with drops climbing the window up. (3.) I don't know if route-related, but it seems to me that I am penalized for not using wipers in tunnels. But I usually ignore these points, so not sure.
A couple of things to feedback… Why are there no exit signals departing the yard at Turnover towards Stará Paka? Driving the 750, there is no indication of your acceleration or deceleration pace (blue or yellow) on the accelerometer section of the upper left HUD.
Because it copies reality. There is one common signal for all the tracks and dispatcher calls the train it applies to tell him he may leave. See manual page 13.
PS5 Pro I think, unless I missed something, that when departing from Turnov towards Zelezny Brod (Stara Paka), the dispatcher will not announce the departure via the group signal......meaning here in the simulator
It changes to green together with the call, but it's quite hard to spot as the signal is pretty far from you. It's at the far-right in the left turn just before the swithces.
