I was trying to do the Class 802 test run service on Great Western Express, but once I get to where I have to switch to diesel mode, it won’t let me apply power. I followed the correct procedure; put it in neutral, lower the pantograph, hold the engine on button for 10 seconds, press the diesel mode button, and the engines do turn on, but when I apply power, the train doesn’t move. Am I doing anything wrong, or is this a known bug?

I have completed all jobs successfully with the 802 on xbox series x. You didn't put the holding brake on by accident did you.

Nope, the brakes are released. The train even rolls down the hill.

I got it to work by:
    Power to off
    Hold diesel mode
    Start engines
    Pantograph down
    Reapply power.

Hi I have a question for you seeing as you on xbox pc. Is xbox on pc the same has playing on xbox console. Do you need a gaming pc or can you use a good home pc. Sorry for the questions. Do you still get problems like xbox console players get.

It basically has all the advantages of PC (mods, extra timetable layers, raildriver support, etc...) but you're signed in through your Microsoft account. TSW is quite a demanding game, so you'll need a good computer, but you can still get it to run on a slower PC if you're okay with worse graphics and framerates. Most console exclusive issues like blurry textures aren't an issue. The only major issues are the ones linked to the Microsoft store, such as the lack of sales, or any updates that might not immediately release to Xbox.

Train Sim World is now available on GeForce Now, which is excellent if you don't have a beefy PC, and want to issues in the console versions.
