Before Christmas i released DE mod which include all DE electric locos on all DE routes. During that time i was already working on UK mod which suppose to be the same like DE one. Well its not like the DE one, i think its even better (some more stuff needs to be done to be perfect) as i find out some new ways to play with the game. So the UK mod include some stuff which is used in the game for the first time. Took me couple of days to figure that out to make it work. So what can you expect from the UK mod ? - all diesel locos on every UK route - some MU units on other UK routes (there is no MU unit on WSR but no problem to add it there) - Class 66 subs on DE routes too with cargo formations (for correct working you will need my DE modification) - the whole formation substitution (save some formations - will use that on DE mod too) - include the new ECW DLC What is missing from UK mod ? - random generated cargo like in DE mod (it will come with next update, i spend many hours finding some new ways to play with the game) - as i tested the mode for many hours there can still be some bugs, if you find some, just report it in this thread, i will keep checking it and try to fix what i can. Download will be ready today at night -> http://www.trainsim.cz Here is preview what you can expect from that UK mod: HST and 166 on Leeds - Manchester 101 and 166 substitution on DSN:
I look forward to trying this mod later. The Class 101 on WSR will be a perfect addition as many heritage railways in the UK make use of 1st generation DMUs. The Class 101s also used to work in/out of London Paddington in the 1990s, so that too will be interesting to drive in a 1st generation DMU. I also noticed that you added a donate button to your website, so I have sent you a few Euros to say thank you!
Nice one CZ... The Class 47 sounds on the GWR are terrific, hope yet for the HST! Reading . . Paddington . Manchester
CZ the Class 47 on the Western keeps running non existent red signals and ending game, the last time it was 100meters before a green signal.. Also the air brake res seems to leek a little causing loco to loose power and slow until you "overc harge" . Nice work though thanks a million.. Class 40 ok on western and 47 ok on TT
So i keep getting questions about if that mod will work if you dont own all UK DLCs. As i dont test it without DLCs (i own all DLCs) then i cant tell. But it should work even if you dont own all DLCs, you will just not see some locos there (the one which you dont own and remember, some DLCs locos need some route to be able to work so if you just buy that loco and you dont own the route, you will not see that loco as normally its not included in any formation). Anyway its just better to try that mod if its gonna work or not... copy the pak file is not gonna break your game, if the game will keep crashing than just delete that mod .pak file and you will be ok.
Thank you for this file and the work you put in to it - just had a 33 on GWR and a 166 from Darlington to Saltburn I noticed with the Class 33 in a pair it gives a random number but both locos have the same number Peter
Hi, Was this by any chance at 16:12 If it was, then it also happens with the class 101 Mod on the GWE. Mike.
No on the 4L08. from Reading. The 40 ok with it. But 4V38 15.57 from Acton had it too around 16.10. mmmm, 4E03 nice went all the way no problem... Will try the 101 the 47 works ok on TT. I change brakes from Air Passenger to Air Goods .All my 101 working good well you cant keep 166 times with a 101
Well, many thanks! I'm not sure yet what's more fun, the 52 on GWR or the HST on NTP. I'll need some more time to figure this out
I ran the HST Eastbound but the view from the cab was quite dark and it struggled up Miles Platting bank with two power cars compared with a 47 or 45
Did one run and a 'couple' of screenshots: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1bKDs3d17QcL3XWnJyEdNfCT5b862sAT6 As a bonus, somewhere in there is a 52 on GWE. Sort the pics by name, and they will be in the correct order
Put a 31 on a Man Vic to Leeds Express and the BG was missing from the rear of the train. Plus, (and this was my fault), stalled near the foot of Miles Platting bank and couldn't get going again!
Nice to get the Class 40 onto Tees Valley. They sure look good. Is it possible to select which locos show up on any particular route. I'd rather not have the 66 and Class 166 DMU on the Tees Valley line.
I had hoped to try out the Tees Valley 101 on Northern Transpennine as they seem to have different characteristics (the Tees Valley units appear to be more powerful, with the Tees Valley 3-car seemingly a match for the NTP 2-car). Alas, this isn't an option. However great work. I've uninstalled it for now as I have more of existing game to explore yet, but I'm sure I'll load it back up in due course. 31s on NTP and 40s on TVL look interesting, and were protoypical as well, although not in either scenraio's time frame, I think. There was at least one trial of an HST on NTP as well: https://www.flickr.com/photos/markamis/4226714224/in/set-72157623096557438
