    ● Class 843 can sometimes randomly drop the set power to 0%. This isn’t
    any in-game bug but a simulation of a real-world “bug”. If it happens in the MAN
    mode, simply add power again. ARR mode should automatically resume power

    power - e.g. going from 0% to 100% all at once. You can see the traction
    current dropping on one of the bogies a few seconds before this happens. Most
    of the time (but not always), the drop can be mitigated by changing the set
    power after the sudden current drop happens."
    so even if I am going lets say 60 kph (and coasting at 0% power) and I suddenly go quickly to 100% (cos I get 95 lets say as speed limit), it can drop power? damn :D

    Looks like this problem has been fixed. I'm currently shunting in Zelezny Brod and here it works.

    When coupling railcars, the collision detection is wrong. Instead of stopping at the end of the buffers, the buffers of two railcars melt together.

    In Turnov, there's a red signal S2.21 in direction to Dolanky, that is not on the map. At the end of the timetable MN 62401 Part 6 (Shunting) you have to pass it. Contacting the dispatcher says: no track available. Waiting doesn't help and when you pass it, you get no "passed a red signal" message fortunately. It's just irritating. Is it wrong placed ? Ticket is submitted...

    It happens to me regularly, especially in the Turnov direction Rychnov section ....... suddenly I look and there is no traction ..... and I accelerate again and it drops again ... I watch the values, I don't have an overheated engine, no water .... I don't even get much current .... it's like a random function

    Otherwise it seems to me that the speed restriction function is not implemented, at least it never has been so far

    That's a group departure signal for trains, if you are shunting, you are not a train, and it doesn't apply to you at all.

    Today's mini-core update unlocked the poster in the map, I haven't checked yet to see if it's posted directly somewhere....but without fixing those two scenarios, you can't complete the journey and I don't think even Mastery Tier 2.....so hopefully it'll come

    I believe they stated in the preview stream that this route, due to being a one track local one, doesnt use the full extent of the safety system, only the vigilance, and you have to keep to the speed limits from signs and track knowledge (or track monitor if you use it like I do)... but on this route the safety system doesnt do the speed limit enforcement (hopefully they do a mainline or sth in the future where it does... or is it MIREL in those cases? I dont know)

    I think Mirel is not here......but I don't know for sure.

    Maybe we misunderstood, I meant one of those new features, random work spots on the track ...... 'Z' ank 'K' table

    I believe this LS system also does watch speed on certain routes... as far as I understood the MIREL documentation I have found online, MIREL is very similar to ETCS, and it can work also with other systems, including ETCS... I dont understand the specifics... I dont think this kind of route uses MIREL IRL, I guess that one is used on busier routes and mainlines (a couple yrs back I had watched a TSC video where I think Vlackari youtube channel showed MIREL setup... at the start they would set max route speed and at certain points it would behave kinda like TVM, having some kind of speed progressions etc.)

    anyway, despite no speed enforcement (which I think they said IRL it also isnt enforced by on-board systems) I am having a lot of fun :)

    I'm having trouble with this service as well. After dropping two wagons on track 37, i pull up to the mainline signal, get the next instruction "couple to formation", which according to the map are 5 wagons on track 33, but the automatic switch just takes me back to track 37. If i then try to pull forward up to the mainline signal to try again there's an invisible red signal that won't clear "you appear to be off path".

    Really a shame cause these linked services are some of my faves in all of TSW- i'd like to be able to finish them in order.

    Has anyone completed it successfully?

    If I'm not mistaken, is this the morning shift of the handling train in Turnov? I completed this service just fine.

    Yes that's the one. I might give it another try but where i got stuck was about 30 minutes in so not sure i wanna take that long just to get stuck again.

    Once you pull ahead of the consist and get the "Wait" instruction, always request signaller permission before moving. Sometimes the path gets set automatically, sometimes only after calling the signaller. Once you get out of sequence there is no real recovery for the situation. Also make sure you pull ahead clear of any points the first time. I had similar issues with part 1 of the return manipulation service myself getting into a similar deadlock situation.

    How can I distinguish this from normal signals? And why isn’t it visible on the map?

    843 ...... I tried to deactivate the EDB electrodynamic brake with the help of switch 27, but it seems to me that it still works ...... has anyone tried it?

    R 1268 with class 843, heading towards Turnov and the announcement just went straight for Rychnov, which is next stop after that :D (sorry for a little Czech, but it reminds me of an old Czech movie where I believe the conductor shouts "Nezastavujeme, máme zpoždění!" aka "No stopping here, we're running late", or sth like that :D )

    Yes, I noted that......... but overall on the PS5 the announcement sounds strangely distorted...and instead of "příští stanice", I think it just says "pristi stanice"

    2 scenarios cannot be completed due to objectives being -10 million yards below you, these scenarios are can you fix it (as pictured) and a day of shunting part 1, I am playing on PS5

    I admit that I started to investigate the behavior of the air brake, BP position, on the 843 ..... and I don't know if it's correct, but I noticed that even though I apply the air brake, BP position, the pressure in the brakes does not always increase, or it increases to a maximum of 2 bar and then drops again and when almost stopping it increases again, maybe up to 4 bar ........ is that correct?
    It seems a bit confusing to me and I can't quite figure out whether I'm braking with air at all and not just EDB

    You can distinguish it by mast sign:
    Red with white of same length = Absolute stop aspect valid only for trains.
    Red with white of half length = Absolute stop aspect valid for trains, shunting and open route shunting.

    You can also see the diagonally crossed board under the signalhead, meaning "Group signal, signal not valid for only one track":

    It's not visible on track map because it does not belong to any of the tracks as TSW expects by default, as the sign S2-21 suggests, it covers all of the mentioned tracks. I guess it is implemented as either "distant signal" for invisible signals on individual tracks, or it's even just general asset and connected to tracks by script separately.

    In case where group signals are used, train path movement authority ends at the fixed sign "End of train path, border of track" on the ground:

    For passenger trains in platforms, you can also see fixed sign "Place of stopping" in platform:

    These end your movement authority and you need to receive order from dispatcher to depart or drive through.

    In stations that do not have signals equipped for shunting aspects, every movement authority for shunting must be requested from the dispatcher separately.

    I recently completed a service with 843, driven from cabin 2, and although it was raining quite heavily, no water fell on the front windows during the ride, equipped with wipers, so there was practically no need to use them...... only when the train stopped, while in the station, water did fall on the window.....

    I haven't come across a better way in all these years, but during the day it's hell when the daylight and sun are reflected in the screen, it's not a problem, I try to drive mainly at night

    STEAM on PC In the Can you fix it scenario, I've performed all the start-up operations (identical to the tutorial), I reset the fuses, I've cleaned the grates on each side of the train, and I still can't move forward. What am I missing?

    This scenario cannot be completed, especially when a channel change is requested on the transmitter, the step is not performed by the system, and therefore the remaining steps of the scenario cannot be performed after reaching Liberec.
    At least that's the case on PS5, but from what I've seen, it's probably the case on all platforms....... but I was able to get the train moving, but it was a challenge because both engines kept failing and I had to restart them or switch from neutral to thrust

    Scenario From Factory to factory


    After coupling empty vagons at Liberec Track 601 and setting simplex channel to 26, when driving back uphill the train soon literally jumps out of tracks gets derailed resulting in scenario failed (tried three times at multiple speeds, happened always) can’t proceed and complete the scenario.

    Some funny stuff going on: Drove a freight train with Class 750 double traction. Needed to stop in Turnov and almost SPADed because the second loco did not throttle down and kept pulling with full smoke. An emergency brake got me stopped 1 m before the red signal. But the second loco continued spinning the wheels. Only switching off its engine stopped it. Had to reset physics but then the second loco becomes dead weight with engine always idle if you try to continue the journey.

    This was after a save game (which I blame for that).

    Did somebody experienced similar?

    Hi, it can be completed, it has a small detail, you have to manually monitor the set switches and there is such a maliciousness that even if you move the cars onto the track, someone will switch it back in the meantime, it happened to me on the first try too

    So this hasn't happened to me yet, but I know for sure that when you start a service with double traction, the default setting is Solo control, you have to switch to Double traction in the electrical switchboard... maybe that could have caused it?
    I am on PS5

    Despite users reporting the Hasler Tachograph sound plays on PS5, it does not on PC/Steam in the cab of the 750. The odometer inside the Tachograph does work though - very impressive - which makes the lack of the iconic clicking sound even more of an issue. As there are no sound mods out for this, and I highly suspect it won't ever get one simply because it doesn't need one, I see no mod interferring here, so it must be platform related.
