    Hi everyone,:D
I would like to suggest the addition of the Siemens Desiro ML to Train Sim World. This train is widely used in several European countries and would fit perfectly in a modern regional or suburban route.
    Option 1 – Belgian version (SNCB/NMBS AM08)
The Belgian AM08 (Desiro ML) would be a very good addition, especially if a Belgian route is ever considered. (Brussel - Antwerpen / Brussel - Liège)
    Why it would be interesting:
    Equipped with ETCS
    Maximum speed: 160 km/h
Very good acceleration, quick and responsive
Designed for regional and suburban services
Used on lines with many stops and short distances between stations
    Very versatile train
In Belgium, the AM08 is widely used and in many cases replaces older InterCity trains. It’s not just a small local train, it’s used on longer regional services as well.
    It would bring:
    Modern cab with digital screens
    Realistic ETCS driving
    Dynamic stop-and-go gameplay
    A modern European EMU feeling
This train is very common in the south of Belgium (Liège – Luxembourg area / Marloi - Liers), but also seen in other regions.
    Option 2 – Austrian version (ÖBB 4744 / 4746 / 4748)
Another very strong option would be the Austrian Desiro ML from ÖBB:
ÖBB 4744 : 3 cabs with 4 doors per side.
ÖBB 4746 : 3 cabs with 6 doors per side = 2 Doors per cabs (Most used and like AM-08 )
ÖBB 4748 : 4 cabs with 8 doors per side = 2 doors per cabs
    Possible ideas:
A standalone train pack with these units
Or a new Austrian route, especially around Vienna
    Why Austria makes sense:

    Equipped with AFB
    Maximum speed: 160 km/h
    Strong
    and smooth acceleration
    Very popular around Vienna
Used everywhere in suburban and regional services
Also replaces older IC or regional stock in many cases
If there was a Vienna-focused roadmap or extension, this train would be perfect. You can see it everywhere in the Vienna area.
A pack including the 4744 / 4746 / 4748 would give variety while still being the same base platform.
Why the Desiro ML in general?
Very popular train in real life
    Modern European EMU
Good for routes with frequent stops
Strong acceleration makes gameplay more dynamic
Fits Belgium, Austria, Germany and more
Modular platform → could be reused in different countries later
I think it would be a great addition to TSW and a strong modern regional train that many players would enjoy.
    Thanks for reading:D

to expand upon your suggestion, here is one of mine, focusing on OBB, since Desiro ML is the core of its regional fleet (together with 4024/4124 and gradually retiring 4020/5040s), at least until Mireos start hitting full operations (which might take years):

and yes we need this one... I am not sure OBB Desiros have AFB, but I remember they have this neat feature where once you reach your desired speed, you drop to sth like minimal (not off) throttle, and it locks the current speed (you can find more info in TSC manual for 4744)

In any case, it would be very interesting for us Belgians and Austrians to have one of the most popular trains in our regions, particularly the 4746.It would be perfect if we could have a Belgian map like Brussels - Liège Guillemins.
