This thread seems to have went a bit unnoticed, but 100%, the TSW human's in general pretty terrible. It's not even just Hatt, whenever you see a driver or fireman in a scenario they look almost as bad. They're ok in the context of TSW when so little attention is given to them, but it's frankly so distracting how bad the human models are when focus is given to them more this time around. It's also worth baring in mind, that the human's in Thomas have their own distinct look, and that Hatt family are just as iconic as the engines are in many regards. I really wish they went ahead and did away with all the generic UE asset humans, presumably using the actual CGI models from the show in their place.
Yeah honestly I think the passenger system in TSW really does have it's flaws and I was hoping we'd get a little more in a new game that would polish it up a bit more. Especially for main characters.
He does seem a little off to me, like trapped between model, CGI and a real life Fat Controller. I wonder what the other human characters coming to the game will look like, like Mr Percival for the Skarloey Railway.
I appreciate how they keep all the characters out of focus so we don't get to see how truly hideous they are lol
He's just an unreal engine asset. I do wish someone could mod the people into what they looked like in the show.
