    Hi everyone.

I know its been a while since I have been here but I have really been enjoying the news and new add-ons that are coming through and whilst I am excited about the upcoming Class 90 and Class 70 pack. I would like to propose a complete DC Rail add-on pack that would consist of a Class 60, Class 56 and a JNA-T pack and here is why.

The first reason is that this pack would add additional freight layers to GWE/GWE:RM, MML Leicester to Nottingham/Derby, ECML Peterborough to Doncaster and Kent High Speed on the non-HS parts. The layers in the timetable would cover 4-5 routes at the get-go as well as WCML South for some workings too. That would make this viable.

The next thing I would like to mention is that DC Rail are not currently officially included in the TSW world yet as where we do have DB, DRS and now Freightliner with the upcoming Class 70 add-on on the way. Therefore, this leaves only DC Rail and GBRF left to include if licencing and collaboration could be achievable.

Freight lovers would likely enjoy the challenge and thrill of driving a Class 60 or a Class 56 with a loaded granite train along the MML from just outside Loughborough to Chaddlesden Sidings at the back of Derby. As well as some other routes where DC Rail operates their Class 60's and Class 56's in real life.

    Loco Numbers and Livery variants:
    Class 60:
60028: Cappagh Blue (Phase 2 livery)
60029/60046/60055 DC Rail Grey (Phase 1 Livery)
    60099 (Phase 3 Livery)

    Class 56:
    56091/56103 (Phase 1)
There is also one in BR Blue as a Heritage livery as well.

Here is a photo of 60099 in Phase 3 livery for DC Rail.

For the terms of features and pricing etc. I would like to see an accessible engine room and more functionality like we have with the Czech Class 750 as well as versions of the Class 60 with the older and new light clusters. Full authentic sounds recorded from the Engine Room, the Traction Motors and from the cab.

If the pack would be officially licensed from DC Rail/Cappagh with approval from them and them working closely with the add-on developer. This would make for a popular add-on as it has been requested many times in the past for a Class 60 and a Class 56 to come to Train Sim World. If this would be to become an official DC Rail add-on pack for this simulator. I for one would be happy to invest and pay more for a dedicated freight package that would open up a lot of potential for both the Class 56 and the Class 60 as well as the JNA-T wagons for those that do professional reskins of these locomotives and rolling stock.

I would be delighted to hear your thoughts on this add-on suggestion.
    Thanks for reading.

Sounds like a great idea. We need more cool UK heavy freight power. The Class 56 and 60 fit the bill. Plus, we could get a reskinned Class 56 on Tees Valley Line in the future.

With the Class 56 you could also get the Class 69 as they are pretty similar.

The Class 69 could also be considered if licencing with GBRF can be obtained. It would also fit the modern present day timetable as another layer.
