PC Sd40 - Acses/atc Mod - Nec Ny-stamford

For anyone on PC do yourself a favour should you have NY - Stamford and go pickup SpaceyKat's NYS small patches mod.... In this pack is a mod for the SD40 to have ACSES/ATC in cab to use on the New haven lines to enhance your realism factor/immersion. (Shame DTG could never implement the safety systems on the Freight trains that run on the NY and Boston networks to add further gameplay and increase TT capabilities)

Awesome stuff! Something like this would come in handy on the freight stock for Boston to Worcester.

I am running Q431 part 2 and have noticed that the alerter is not working now, the breaker for safety systems is on. Also noted that the wipers don't work, but until I uninstalled the mod and go back in, will not know if this is related to this mod or not. Will update.

 

Even though I got bit by the save bug, I can say that with the mod gone the wipers work.

 

Might give this a try though i don't usually use mods.

But, really, this is something DTG should have done ages ago. I know it's not technically accurate but it would be better than the "nothing" we have now imo. At least until they actually implement PTC is TSW14 lol.

 

It's somewhat accurate some of the CSX Geeps have/had ADUs to operate on MTA lines

 

I didn't know that! Even more reason for them to do it.

Shouldn't even be that hard, right? Like even a more basic version that just gives you the upcoming signal aspect would be a huge improvement.

 

Are the ACSES/ATC systems working? Or is it just a visual instrument added to the cockpit?

 

With this modification, the alert stops working. There's no alarm. Is it just me?

 

vodka#2734 No its not just you, I reported this above. Also, the mod seems to stop the wipers from working.

 

Eh, I hope they fix this and it will be a great mod.
