I set the first locomotive to dual traction mode and left the second one in solo mode. The engine speed on the second locomotive increased.
What's worse is that the scenario is otherwise really good. Never have I ever felt more immersed and like a real driver than when I shunted that big train together being guided by radio messages. Only caveat apart from the bug that makes it impossible to complete, in my eye is lack of localisation. Sure, the Czech language is the only appropriate one for the route, but since a translation appears only in text boxes when the HUD is on, you can't really drive it HUDless if you don't speak Czech. Now SimRail handles this issue better as it does at least provide English audio output for radio traffic, with a heavy eastern European accent, but that preserves the origins in my view. Also for shunting you shouldn't get less points because you correctly set the LVZ to shunting which basically disables it's alerter function. Same goes for the German shunting operations without PZB and LZB btw., it shouldn't let you not score enough points since it's prototypical.
And everything worked for me... It would be nice to hear an official answer from the developer on how to do it correctly.
PS5 Pro I found a video on Youtube, about 3 days old, where a user managed to complete the scenario Can You Fix It ...... So we tried again, about the fifth time and although it showed some nonsense again after passing the point to change the radio channel, so after reaching Liberec, another step was taken and finally I somehow completed the scenario and with that I managed to complete mastery tier 2
We don't even have Czech subtitles on other maps. It would be enough if the rating was set in such a way that you could get platinum even with a lower rating, when the rating system seems to have its security systems turned off. I think that it works for a few services, but not for all. But if you then play the service again and have already achieved platinum, it doesn't really matter, your rating won't get worse.
It's not driving technique the fault notifications are coming on when the train faults are turned off, I know about the driving technique faults. Its the actual built gameplay faults that are sometimes triggering even when train faults are set to off, they only stop when you set the entire random events to off
PS5 Pro I think the arrival of the Medway Valley map shows how poorly optimized this map (Liberec-Stara Paka) is, the performance practically doesn't go over 30FPS and in places it's even as low as 15FPS, that's really bad.
I have no idea about popup notifications unfortunately, that's the first thing I turn off. But the diagnostic display in the cab will show how you are ruining the engine in many different ways by incorrect driving
Are you sure there is not some problem on your side? I have seen the PS5 pro gameplay from The British Ace and it was very good performance-wise.
Does anyone know what it means when the “1271 and “stroj…” text are flashing? I’ve seen it a few times, but I can’t figure it out?
I'm not the only one who complained about performance in this thread, especially FPS. Look here, my previous findings Liberec - Stará Paka Feedback Thread But if Medeway runs at 60FPS, I think I'd have something with the PS5 EDIT: I was just watching the FPS values while driving with the 843 on the morning R1265 from Liberec to Turnov Setting: August, full cloud cover, fog 40% Liberec: 30-40fps when leaving Liberec, about 30-35fps Pilinkov: cca 40fps Jermanice: 40-50fps Rychnov: cca 40fps Rychnov - Hodkovice section: cca 30fps about 1km before Hodkovice: 20-25fps Sedlejovice cca 35fps Sychrov: 40-50fps exit from the tunnel behind Sychrov: 20-25fps Dolanky: 40-50fps Turnov cca 30fps
OK I admit it, I caved in and bought the route... much earlier than I expected. So far, I'm pretty much blown away! Love at first sight Route: The scenery is stunning, very well done! A great choice for a first route, and the timetable is surprisingly packed and varied. Haven't found many bugs and issues yet, since I was rather busy learning to drive and how the Czech signalling works... and I haven't done any scenarios or Journey Mode yet, only timetable stuff. There are some minor issues like a couple of rock cliffs near the tracks being displayd in a very poor LOD, but nothing too game-breaking. Interestingly, my graphics card is working harder and getting hotter here than it does on Stuttgart-Heilbronn, but here I get much better FPS and less stuttering. I'm getting a rather constant 40-60 fps. Does this route make use of the hardware more efficiently? If so, good job Vector Simulations! DTG, please take notes Rolling stock: As of now I mostly used the 843, which took some time getting used to it and figuring everything out, but now it's quite a lot of fun to drive! Despite being butt ugly, that is (sorry Czech rail fans) By the way, the Czech awareness control is quite the nuisance, compared to German/Austrian Sifa! Haven't used the 750 myself so far, but encountered it a couple of times en route and it looks and sounds great (yes, I really consider the 843 to be the uglier one of the two) The new rolling stock in general seems to be of very high quality. And having new stuff coming with multiple liveries/versions from the start is something I'd like to see more often. Also, I'm absolutely in love with those cute coaches the 843 often pulls Seeing the 642 appear here adds a familiar face to the route, nice addition. In terms of being fun to drive, I prefer the 843 though. Overall the route and rolling stock both feel very well crafted, you can tell a lot of love went into making this. All those little additions like the "request stop" button, the occasional call from dispatch and other stuff like that make this route feel very alive! If Vector keep up this level of quality, they don't have to be afraid to bear comparison to the likes of TSG And I really have to brush up on my Czech skills... such a nice language!
MN62401-part 5 12 minutes to wait at a light is a bit much...like 10 minutes too much. And then it disappeared near the end and wouldn't complete? I saw there was a train down the line a LOOOONG ways. I get that's "realistic" for long waits I suppose but maybe a heads up in the description?
