From the perspective of someone who works in software, that's pretty much how I see it after a few days of playing.Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying whizzing around my childhood, but it's essentially a reskin of TSW6 that removes some features. I'm struggling to see what's changed in the core apart from the main menu logic and the simplified train controls, which are essentially keybinds.

    Save button would be nice
I'd appreciate an option to independently control brakes and power (might be doable through config file hacks)

The HUD options could use better tooltips. Some aren't explained. Some refer to minimal HUD even though this game doesn't seem to offer a full HUD

Yea under the hood it's pretty much the same with a lot of TSW files in the pak files with all folder structures being the same.
