Hello folks, I've been part of the original MSTS community and now trying to get back to rail simming with TSW, I'm also someone who has been in the visual arts industry for many years and since forever I wanted to be able to create the best quality add-ons for a rail simulator game, I'm trying to figure out how, or if anybody is interested to help/partner up.

This is an example, FP45, ready to be imported in UE.
    Thanks.

    Wow, looks incredible. :o
I'm of no help for such things, but I wish you good luck for your project.

Best Quality is a balancing act in TSW, if you are creating textures in 4K then you will hammer performance in the game. Even many instanes of 2K textures can hamper performance, even if it looks great on a powerful PC.

Before you invest tons more time you should probably reach out to DTG for advice.

Unless you're using a PC from the 00's, 2k or even 4k won't tank the performance, I use Unreal Engine daily and I know where the threshold is. I'm not aiming to please the lower-end user unfortunately, there are plenty of add-ons that cater to that.

using Virtual textures in UE, much like Nanite for meshes, will do wonders for performance.
