Tried a 375 & a 395 but after about 3 minutes the game crashes to desktop. I have no SEHS related mods installed.

Thinking of renaming myself to arousedbyvalleys*

*there's one in the USA called Teton Valley so it wouldn't even be the first time. But my goodness this thing is special, bravo to the creators. I'm amused my prediction that there would already be bizarre complaints (they're in other threads) has already come true as well.

Can you delete your engine.ini in ""Documents\My Games\TrainSimWorld6\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor"" please. This has been the cause of almost every crash.

Well I started the " Early Morning " scenario to get the hang of the 375 and discovered that there's a lot more to setting up and driving this particular Electrostar than I thought. The GSM- R adds some complexity as do the safety systems. Previous emus have not had these elements, so it looks like expert mode will be a fun challenge.

And so far so good with the night lighting.

Judging by the initial scenario, I'm not anticipating any of the problems players are reporting. I've always played mod- free.

And thank goodness this train is compatible with my Raildriver. Grateful for that.

Only remaining question is to make sure all the layers are in game

    Yep, will do. Thanks mate.

UPDATE: deleted the engine.ini and the route is working fine now.
    Appreciate the assistance Fawx! :)

I have to say I really really hope the night lighting (and everything else about the lighting, really) on this route becomes a standard for future routes.

I've already left my hugely positive comments in the feedback thread. But just to reiterate, no crashes (PC Steam) with various mods and JetWash's mod's engine.ini (plus some passenger ini settings). And the route is glorious, gorgeous, and sets a new high bar for modern routes. Bravo, sirs, bravo.

    I have 2 hopes:
    1. That DTG import the improvements into SEHS, and bring their local flagship route up to this standard with announcements et al.
    2. That when Firefly are ready to weave their Electrostar magic on a longer route, they go to the other side of the Thames and tackle the London, Tilbury and Southend Railway (aka the c2c line). There’s so much in their 375 that's reminiscent of the 357s that I've commuted on for the past 20+ years, including the 'bing bong' and the toilet! In fact I'd go as far as to say that I think only the Firefly guys, with their attention to detail, could do this route justice.

I'd love to see DTG work out a deal with FFS to incorporate their GSMR into all existing and future British Rolling Stock, as it adds a neat extra feature when setting up the train (nice when you have to wait two minutes to leave the first station!!). Also would love for DTG to work out a deal to incorporate the audio from this 375 onto all the existing and future Electrostars so we have a great baseline for audio, because one of the things that keeps me using a train (no matter how simple it is) are the audio sounds.

If I were both DTG and Firefly, I'd be having a convo about the Electrostar sounds and licensing to all other Electrostars. Win win for both sides, DTG get great sounds, Firefly get extra revenue. Also probably easier to deal with a 3P in their own dev program than deal with AP.

I can't think of any excuse or reason why DTG shouldn't implement features that 3rd parties have brought to TSW into their own routes, almost everything they've said they couldn't do for whatever reason has been done by others (AI guard, GSMR etc). Features like these shouldn't be unique to certain 3rd party trains because it just makes everything unnecessarily inconsistent

This is the first TSW route in months that I've been genuinely interested in. Primarily due to the detail AND the reported lack of blurry texture issue from people on PS5. Also quite an accomplishment to for this team to have made the Electrostar interesting again.

I really enjoy how you can explore along this route with paths and benches placed to sit and train spot.. You dont need to go miles into the town or have the scenery run for miles away from said track. They've done a great job with the density close to the track including the roads and car traffic where other DLCs really fail at this.

One of the small things that annoys me in a lot of DTG routes is how close they put the invisible walls to the tracks. Even when they put time and effort into modelling scenery farther back from the track, you can't even get close enough to appreciate it.
