Since This Route IRL is 180+ miles, DTG should trim it down, but overall, this route will be a hit. Stations will be Dillon, Florence, Kingstree, Charleston, Yemassee, and then Savannah. The ALC-42 Will Be PERFECT! Also, the Viewliner Baggage, Viewliner Dining Car, and the Viewliner Sleeper (Viewliner 1 or 2 Idc really). Those are the NECESSARY Rolling stock for the Amtrak Silver Meteor, BUT... at Florence Station, there is a small CSX yard, so on this route, I feel like we should have the CSX GP38-2 and SD40-2 Doing Switching work. So that is my suggestion for this route. Comment on your opinions on the suggestion!
ALC-42 needed! Maybe a P42DC Genesis. Maybe some newer rebuilt CSX Dash-3 power (GP40-3 maybe?) We still need the GP40-2 back in game. Passenger cars w/ interiors too.
Yeah, I agree that we should have it but thats a nice recommendation! I also don't think Dovetail will add p42dc because it's being retired
We are very much in need of an amtrak diesel and the accompanying passenger cars, because having that train means not only can you "realistically" use it on it's assigned route DLC but many other DLCs that have a train station on them.
