if only Manchester Airport departure did lead to Liverpool Lime Street via Piccadilly and if only Mannheim S-Bahn knew to end in Heidelberg. Both SAY that they do ... If only.
Manchester Airport departures do go to Liverpool Lime Street via Manchester Piccadilly though... https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:Y25076/2026-03-28#allox_id=1 EDIT Wait I think I misunderstood
That's only because that's what the real life service does. It wouldn't really be feasible to create the entire line/lines just to match the name of the service since some lines are hundreds of miles. It wouldn't really be realistic if the service names only included what's in tsw
Yes I wish that from NY Penn I could go all the way to Chicago (2 ways), Toronto, Montreal, Boston, New Orleans and South Florida and it’s entirely unreasonable and lazy of DTG that I can’t
This is not the approach they chose. They chose to do a bit here and there (unlike Simrail, which starts from a core and expands). However, over time (as was the case for TS before), the isolated pieces will join together and form a network, but unfortunately perhaps not as extensive as we would like...
I think OP is saying they want to be able to drive complete Manchester Airport to Liverpool Lime Street services in TSW, as well as complete Mannheim S-Bahn services
Although a route like Liverpool to Manchester does sound appealing - especially as there are two different ways to get between them.
Theres still a lot of trains that come into manchester Piccadilly that arent in the game yet These are the two main ones id want to see Sheffield trains (Class 185 etc) Hull/Scarborough (Class 802) The Hull train could easily be added as AI as the 802 is already in the game and just needs a license reskin.
It doesnt even need that to have it in the game.. for AI I wouldn't go chasing licenses just colour it up and dont brand it.. we'll all still know what it symbolizes..very much dislike how MAC and cathcart use LNWR 350s rather then reskinning them!
