also, a quick thought detour to Liberec - Stara Paka, which has some of the best implementations of perception of speed... like, I remember riding a tram or even local trains, when it goes like 80 kph it already feels kinda fast, and this route captures that

I love driving towards Exeter on Riviera.

Really feels like you're going faster than you actually are, especially after the quite long 60mph stretch from Plymouth.

here the 100 mph section is more of a brief breather, since no unit in game that does that stretch after joining the fast line has enough time to actually accelerate to that speed before it has to slow down for a stop
