    LMAO EXACTLY
Though its unpopular in my generation, there seem to be many people who just don't care due to laziness, using it for homework, social media, ect, and I honestly think a human can do much better...

Earlier in the thread I mentioned multiple save slots, not just because I might want to hop in and out of different routes, mainly because all too often I accidentally hit x on the playstation when the save slot is selected, only to have to exit out to the main menu again because I'd already finished the save. With a sub menu beneath it, would solve many of my issues ha

    It's an excellent point.

For all my disappointment with the choice of UK routes so far would I rather have my favourite routes in TSW2 or TSW7 or 8 when the quality is far better? It's the latter. Maybe I should take myself outside and wind my own neck in. (UK phrase meaning "shut up")

My favourite UK DLC is still London to Brighton but I would have stopped using it ages ago if it weren't for the various mods that improve on the original route and timetable.

Following on from thoughts on the matter in another post, just musing if the UK route could be the southern ECML, bang up to date with the GBR liveried AT300 and the Class 700 (hopefully with improved sound set). Bonus DLC would either be an IC225 set or maybe for us old fossils a Deltic for railtours.

I would take a 91 over a Deltic for a modern route. If we have a Deltic, personally I want a period route for it not some contrived railtour.

Of all the routes (or section of routes) that I'd like to see in-game, ECML South (London to Peterborough) feels like the most likely to be the next big DTG release at this time. And I'll be delighted if it is. Any route that has multiple types of gameplay is a must for TSW and that the rolling stock roster for ECML is at worst a Class 91 away from being complete seems like an obvious choice.

There's fantastic railtour potential (hopefully a pack with the Deltic) and a choice of express. semi-fast, stopper, metro and freight traffic. That's why I think London to Ipswich will come one day, same mix. But ECML is, to use a football term, a "tap-in" and would be very popular, especially if there are layers for classes 91, 313 and 717.

It's screaming out to be in TSW.

I agree, I'd love a 1980s version with 55s, 312s, 313s and HSTs. But if it's to be a modern version, I'd be happy for a Deltic railtour pack for now and maybe have another section (York to Newcastle for example) set in the 70s or very early 80s to give the Deltics a realistic environment.

In the weather enthusiast community there's always debate over whether it will snow when it turns cold and the wiser heads always say "let's get the cold in first and then focus on whether it will snow". Well, let's get the Deltic on the roster then figure out where it can shine afterwards. I'd literally drive it on every high speed UK line, just because I could. The Deltics are the kings of post-steam BR traction. I'm a bit of a fan!

You could be right with Southern ECML. Makes sense. They should have started the ECML at Kings Cross anyway… just seems a bit odd they chose to start with Peterborough / Doncaster.

I think DTG/other developers have a few very busy or long routes in mind but are waiting for a core that can cope with it.

We saw this with TSC. The extended, re-released version of the Portsmouth Line that included Woking to Waterloo came out around the time that the TSC core was improved. In its early days TSC was incredibly moody, but it's been years since I've had a crash to desktop on it.
Just like TSW, the core is improving and when it's more stable I think we'll see an updated Brighton line, ECML south, GEML, extended mainline routes (Milton Keynes to Birmingham and Doncaster to Newcastle).
