    Hello,
Today I'd like to suggest my latest routes for Train Sim World Sheffield to Leeds.
This route has lots of variety but let's start with the stations.
We'd be potentially getting 2 lines with this:
    Via Barnsley:
    Sheffield then
    • Meadowhall
    • Chapeltown
    • Elescar
    • Wombwell
    • Barnsley
    • Darton
    • Wakefield
    • Kirkgate
    • Normanton
    • Castleford
    • Woodlesford
    • Leeds
    Via Wakefield Westgate:
    • Meadowhall
    • Rotherham Central
    • Swinton
    • Bolton on Dearne
    • Goldthorpe
    • Thurnscoe
    • Moor thorpe
    • Fitzwilliam
    • Sandall and Agbrigg
    • Wakefield Westgate
    • Outwood
    • Leeds
    Rolling Stock:
    upload_2024-10-12_18-32-32.jpeg
    Class 195 Civity
    upload_2024-10-12_18-33-43.jpeg
    Class 150/0
    Potential DLC
    upload_2024-10-12_18-34-37.jpeg
    Class 220 / 221 voyagers
Would operate an hourly service express via Wakefield and as AI at Sheffield.
    Layers:
Class 801 operates between Leeds and Wakefield Westgate.
Class 158 EMT as AI at Sheffield
Class 43 HST EMT as AI at Sheffield (Potentially limited service in the summer as per older timetables Leeds and Scarborough specifically)

    Services:
1 tph Leeds to Lincoln (Express)
1 tph Leeds to Sheffield via Barnsley (All Stops)
1 tph Leeds to Nottingham (Express)
1 tph Leeds to Sheffield via Castleford
A series of AI and shorter distance services around Leeds and Sheffield.

Overall, this route I feel has great possibility for players with the two different branches offering differing service styles both in length and scenery.

Do you know the mileage of the two routes? It sounds like a great suggestion but I'm not familiar with those lines.

Around 30 miles for both of them. So that's 60 miles total route length.

    Additional Service:
The new Northern Yorkshire Flyer service operates hourly (departing Leeds at xx:45) to compliment the Cross Country Services.
    This calls at:
    Leeds
    Wakefield Westgate
    Sheffield
Some services call additionally at Meadowhall.
These are operated by Northern class 158s

The first time I saw that Yorkshire Flyer service I was sat on the platform at Meadowhall, upon hearing "the train now approaching platform 1 does not stop here..." I expected to see either a freight train or a Voyager, not a Sprinter, took me a few moments to remember that I saw an article about it about a week prior
