I would like to request that Dovetail Games consider adding Northern Ireland Railways and Irish Rail routes to future Train Sim World titles (including TSW6) and/or Train Simulator Classic. This region remains one of the last major parts of the UK and Ireland not represented in either franchise, despite its unique rolling stock, strong passenger demand, and iconic cross‑border services.

A combined Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland package would offer a highly distinctive experience, with modern diesel multiple units, scenic coastal running, and the internationally recognised Belfast–Dublin Enterprise service.

Belfast-Dundalk? This would allow for the commuters to newry, which have ended due to the hourly enterprises, and you get a good run on the enterprise as well as NIRailways services

AND! From an Irish point of view, here are some other stock options. In order: Class 29000 DMU, Class 22000 DMU , Class 8100 EMU, Class 8600 EMU.

Would be nice but given the only ever commercial Irish add on for a train sim was years ago for MSTS, sadly I don't see it happening.

And as regards Rosslare it would be far more interesting in the era when the trains consisted of Park Royal or Cravens coaches, hauled by back to back Class 121's (IMHO). You would also get the full original stations at Rosslare Harbour and Rosslare Strand.

I’ve just done the Belfast to Lisburn Stopper on Microsoft Train Simulator using the Irish Enterprise North: Belfast to Dundalk add‑on, driving the classic NIR 80 Class DMU. I’ve uploaded the run to YouTube as well if anyone wants to see how it looks.

we’re long overdue a NI/ROI route, especially because of the range of options. for scenery i think the londonderry line would be a great first route, for gameplay maybe the DART

The South Wexford branch(Rosslare Harbour-Waterford) during that era with the class 121's could be a good route aswell. Travelled it a few times as a kid before it closed down, nice scenery, cool bridge across the Barrow and views of Dunbrody Abbey..also semaphore signals and oldschool manually operated level crossings. Freight services aswell running beet trains from Wellington Bridge to Belview Port

I sincerely hope they wouldnt make a dated route first. especially in wexford with its crippling frequency. a DART route or Northern Commuter route set in modern day. would be a lovely introductory route.

Just adding a bit more detail for anyone interested: I’ve created a full DART Travels activity/scenario in Microsoft Train Simulator, split into four parts to reflect different operational patterns around Dublin.

Part 1: Tara Street → Howth Part 2: Howth → Connolly Part 3: Connolly → Malahide (⚠️ Disruption Scenario) Part 4: Malahide → Connolly (✔️ Timetable Recovery)

The scenario is built using the Irish Enterprise South: Dundalk to Dublin add‑on (2007) and represents DART operations in Dublin, the capital city of Ireland.
