Hello everyone, This is the dedicated master feedback thread for the GBR HST Farewell Pack. Please keep all discussions only related to feedback and provide the game platform you are using in any comments for feedback. Thank you! Visit our support page for informative articles and FAQs. Our dedicated technical support team is also available to assist you there. Also be sure to check the Out Now Article for more details! When providing feedback, please always add the following details if possible: Platform (i.e.: PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One) Service/Scenario played when the issue occurred. Repeatability. How often does this issue occur? Images/Videos of the issue occurring. As always, thank you for your feedback. Thank you, Harry
Not sure where put this question. Did power car ever have matching coaches so they all looked the same.
Not with GWR, But LNER did put a full HST in original livery for a farewell Railtour. (Not my Photo) So the green carriages are correct.
Dived straight into the scenario of driving the last HST out of Paddington. Immersion immediately lost by the fact there wasn't a single, solitary, passenger on the train. Ridiculous.
So trying to the open day scenario but when i get to the part of driving to Paddington. The brakes just keep coming by themselves for no reason.
Let me know you get on it goes all ok for until after I couple up to the hst then it goes wrong with brakes. I followed all instructions and played with safety system on.
I’m right by thinking. It’s the open day Scenario I saw Paul having issue on that scenario on the live stream
Folks I really appreciate the discussion, but it is totally ok to take this to DMs and report back, because it means other feedback can get a little lost in the feedback sauce and it makes it difficult for me to track. Thank you
I dont what i done wrong then I followed everything like it said. Brakes kept coming on so I reset train physics to see if that help after that just could not move the train. Thanks for helping
Shouldn't the thread (and second line in the first post) be "GWR HST Farewell Pack, not "GBR HST Farewell Pack"?
In the gwe journey there is a laira depo to old oak depo move. Why are limited to 75mph and not track speed. Poxy wiper bug is back half way down the route the wipers stopped working completey faults switched off this game is starting to grate on me lately.
Because light locos in the UK are limited as follows....... Line speed up to 60mph - Line speed Line speed 60-90mph - 60mph limit Line speed over 90mph - 75mph limit.
There is no soundproofing in the HST cab when passing a Class 802. When you drive past one with the cab doors shut, you can hear the 802 passing really loudly as if the cab doors are open. I believe the same happens when driving the 166.
Can confirm Open Day is also bugged when trying to get out of the depot on PS5. Before you get to the first go via instructions the full brake pressure applies which can't be released. A physics reset releases the brake but not the interlock so you cannot apply power. A shame as I was enjoying the scenario up to that point.
Ok I ran into the same problem in the Epilogue scenario soon after leaving Plymouth. I realised the common denominator seems to be 43093 Legends of Great Western. For some reason the DSD warnings do not sound when you are driving this train and activate it's DSD (even when this power car is in the rear) so you get penalty braked and can't get out of the interlock. If you keep DSD off (AWS is fine) for both of these scenarios you should be able to complete but means you can't be 2 Plats like Harry!
I was driving 43093 on a regular GWE service and thought the DSD was silent. Glad I wasn't going crazy
Also found the DSD bug on Xbox in the Epilouge scenario. Not even resetting physics got it going again. (I'm beginning to think resetting physics itself is also broken because it never seems to do LOVE...)
I didn't have any issues with the Open Day scenario on PS5, however I didn't enable the safety systems until the drive to Paddington instruction
Thank you for this. I believe this may prove a theory I've seen, where the systems don't always shut down correctly when changing cabs. It is something I'm looking over tonight with a few other bits reported here and hopefully can get out in an update asap.
It would be good to see a chance of the new liveries spawning on the player's rear power car and AI trains on the Riviera Line. At the moment, this seems to be restricted exclusively to the original GWR livery with the steel logo, whereas the new liveries can appear at random on Great Western Express as your rear power car or on AI trains.
They should be able too. I'll double check to see if anything has changed on the Riviera timetable but it was set up for random subbing.
Is it possible to still have the special liveried HST numbers in the standard GWR / FGW liveries? Just played a service admittedly on a 165 and 43002 appeared at Paddington but not in Intercity 125 BR blue/grey livery but in GWR livery!
For 43002, and probably the same with others, the GWE HSTs used all the real life numbering even for power cars that weren't in GWR green with the metallic side logo. It's not something I can change without DTG's permission but I will ask about it.
Thank you everyone for your feedback so far.
