just because i was wondering but its not really important enough for the main forum, what is your favourite section of the wcml in tsw? this can also be one of the existing sections, namely euston - milton keynes, birmingham - crewe, and 80s preston - carlisle, or one of the two upcoming sections, namely trent valley: milton keynes - crewe, or 80s crewe - preston.

It's WCMLS that I like the most because of the terminal station, the traffic variety (Underground, Overground, etc) and the transition between dense urban and rural areas.
But what I'm really looking forward to is the Trent Valley, especially for the long distance and the fact that it's a missing link for really long journeys !

Out of the WCML we currently have in TSW so far I really love the Preston - Carlisle section of the route. It’s stunning as you get closer to Carlisle. Very very peaceful scenery. I really do wish we could get the Glasgow section but apparently that’s a big bit of work.

Preston - Crewe if/when it comes out :)

Otherwise I'd say Preston - Carlisle.

I like living in the 1980s, better music, better trains, better TV :)

Shap without a doubt my favourite.

I might have gone with WCMLS if it had gone to Birmingham or at least Northampton and been set in the “Cobbler” era, but not to be. The section I really want but looks destined never to be made, is Carlisle to Glasgow and Mossend but again set in the early to mid 80’s.
