One thing I've noticed is the lack of 43172 "Harry Patch - Last Survivor of the Trenches".

 

Hi Liam and the Dovetail team,
I have two questions regarding the authenticity of the Farewell scenario and the GWE remaster:

1. The 'Harry Patch' HST (43172) was famously one of the last power cars to leave Paddington during the real-world GWR farewell, but it isn’t listed among the seven liveries in this pack. Since the scenario aims for exact unit numbers where possible, which power car was chosen to take its place for this specific run? Was 43172 left out due to licensing, or is it represented by one of the other green liveries?
2. AI Traffic & Infrastructure: Since the GWE remaster doesn't feature overhead electrification all the way to Reading, how have you handled the AI representation for services normally run by Class 387s? Are the Class 165/166 units being used as a 'stand-in' for these electric services to keep the route feeling busy?

1. Harry Patch was left out due to licensing, as it is a FGW livery rather than GWR. In the scenario it is represented with the correct number on an unbranded blue FGW power car.
2. For this scenario, we have the 800 series mixed with the 165/166 running services, plus a layer for the Mildmay '345' running the Hayes & Harlington Elizabeth line shuttle.

It’s not a constant issue for console users. I’ve had limited to no problems at all on PS5. No issues on recent releases either such as GWE remaster and Medway. If you’re that bothered just wait for the release and feedback instead of harping on about it at every opportunity

 

Same here. The InterCity Swallow is my all time childhood favorite. Just hope someone does the coach livery to match if possible. Why does no one call it the 125 as that seems to the nam I will always go by.

 

How much DLC do you have installed?

The more on your SSD, the more prevalent the problem becomes.

Also, just because it doesn't affect you does not mean that it isn't an issue for others.

Why else do you think it features on the roadmap?

 

I know I’m being silly saying this, but I really want someone to create a sound mod, in the sound of a loud grunt/fart just before you hear the toilet flush and waste is disposed onto the track.


I can’t wait to try this pack out later, am really looking forward to it. Plus with Liam’s seal of approval on the add-on I know it’s going to be good.

 

Hi TrainBunmy, I’m no expert but I suspect the loco’s depicted on 43093’s vinyl’s are, from left to right the current class 802, Class 180 Adelante, Class 43/253 HST, class 50, Class 52 ‘Western’, Class 42/43 ‘Warship’,…not 100% but maybe Class 59xx/6959 Hall & 6000 King Class.

 

The steam locos are king and castle class I believe

 

…that would make more sense !!

 

The HST is my favourite loco ( regular driver of the excellent AP ones in TSC), I haven't bought this pack yet as even though i am a relatively new TSW user I have had my fingers burned with bugs on release on products that never seem to get fixed. Is this pack worth buying?
