Howdy A windows update changed the keybinding for my game. Previously pressing F1 key would remove the HUD in game. However, now F1 just opens another window/desktop . What is the best keybinding option for adding/removing HUD in game? Huge thanks
Ctrl+1? Whatever is easy to get to for you. That's what I would use. What update was it? I am up to date on Win11 and haven't got that issue yet.
A key I never use is the one that has three symbols on it. One looks like a reverse apostrophe, another looks like a vertical line and the third looks like a right angle. It's just to the left of the '1' key along the top of the keyboard. ` ¬ ¦ Aaaaand I just figured out how to use it... Always puzzled me until now... Anyway since it's never used it could work? Maybe?
Have you checked if you can disable the F1 key's function in the OS? There should be a way, even if it's more in-depth.
Huuuuuuuuge thank you. I just remembered what that key is called, from my old IT lessons. Its the 'pipe' key. I was struggling to change the key bindings, because I couldnt find any reference to the HUD settings in the control menu. but its called the 'First Person View option and not HUD. Its also not in the train option (Locomotive) but actually in 'On Foot'. Jeez, that took me a while to find it, but thank you.
