This is a subject that's probably came up before but it's intrigued me.
I'm playing through Watch Dogs: Legion, and one (side) mission which I've just completed sees the player prevent Albion (the bad guys) from crashing a train into Waterloo station. (The train appears to be some form of ICE, for anyone curious).

Being set in London, Legion's fast travel system is the Tube, with a mix of real and fictional stations.

In terms of mainline stations, St. Pancras (partially accessable), Kings Cross, Charing Cross (accessable via drone, but not modelled), Blackfriars (fully accessable), London Bridge (really long for some reason), Waterloo (partly accessable) Fenchurch Street and Victoria all feature
Paddington, Marylebone and Liverpool Street don't feature.

Interestingly though, Euston exists in the form of a tube station with a rather large building above it - which isn't Euston station.
Even more interestingly, the old Euston arch/pillar is there, as if the station was demolished without replacement, and it was preserved.

So, what other games (quite so prominently) feature railways/trains/stations like this, and are they more accurate than what WD:L offers?

I think we can mention GTA V with the Los Angeles tram/light rail.

The X360 game The Darkness used the New York City subway as a fast travel system. You summoned a train by moving near the edge of the platform, and a train appeared immediately. If only.

Forza Horizon games regularly feature special events where you race a car against a train. Forza Horizon 4 has you race the Flying Scotsman from Glenfinnan Viaduct into Edinburgh

Indeed. The first of several missions in SA it took numerous attempts to get past. Unlike GTA V which took pity on you after several attempts and moved the story forward, there was no such leniency in SA. It helped (a bit) if you got your motorcycle stats up before attempting the mission but it was still luck more than judgement.

The other missions I struggled with was the absurd bouncing car one, the one where you had to chase drug couriers around San Fierro and snatch their packages and Freefall, where you had to chase a Learjet in a Cessna on a strict time limit to hit the red ring and activate the next phase. And I think I only ever finished the final mission once, without needing the mid checkpoint. Great game, fondly remembered. Probably the best FPS/Action game ever made, even though horribly dated now and a bit squiffy on modern hardware.

I'd like to mention Satisfactory here. I've always enjoyed building huge map-encompassing train lines and big stations, setting up branach lines, signaling it all. Of course it's not real trains but is very enjoyable. I've even built a for the game unnecesary shunting yard, just so it looks cooler. XD
