Hi All Expect this has been asked many times, but how do I get all my Routes across from TSW3 to TSW5. When I purchased TSW5 I cannot remember if I used the Import option or not ? when first starting the Game, however my Profile ID on Tsw3 is same as Tsw5, & when signed into Dovetail Live, my progress level shows 32 on Tsw3 & 34 on Tsw5 but when I go to the Store whilst on Tsw5, all the Routes I've already purchased / owned from previous Tsw Games are not available as Free Downloads, they are all priced to buy !? I never bought TSW4, I went from Tsw3 to 5. So can someone help, tell me how to fix this in as simple terms as poss. Many thanks.

You must first have the TSW 4 versions of your routes on PS Stote (which is free), download them, and then get after the TSW5 version (which will also be free).
You just have to take your routes on the next version, then the version after that. I don't think it's hard, but it will take a while depending on the connection , yes. It's true that compared to Xbox/Steam/Epic Games you have to do this manually, whereas with the others it's automatic.
Thanks for the quick replies, Ok I will try this, but as I never purchased TSW4 Base Game, Disc or Digital version, will I be able to get the Tsw4 Route add ons.
Yes the TSW4 routes can be bought on the PS Store even if you never bought the TSW4 base game. All routes from previous TSW games are Backwards Compatible. So yes. TSW4 routes will work with TSW 5 and 6.
As long as you upgrade every year, it's not that much work. Not much more work than having to download all your DLC again anyway
Not to talk trash on Xbox, but you made the right decision playing on PlayStation as the game suffers a lot more on Xbox. I read this game might be coming to the Switch 2 at some point also, imagine how poorly the game will run on there
Maybe releasing on that platform will give dtg the kick up the "donkey" they need to sorting out the performance issues
I have now managed to bring all my previous Routes across to TSW5 , THANKS to help on here, only thing I have found is some Routes kept my previous progress others completely wiped & showing having to start again on Scenarios, Training etc..so not sure why that is ??..any help here ? Also Routes from TSW2 ie: Bakerloo line, Sand Patch are nowhere to be found & can't find them on PS Store other than to have to buy again ! Also just to ask if I go to Manage Game Content (TSW5) it is full of TSW 3, TSW4 & of course TSW5 downloaded files, which obviously take up space so can the TSW3 & 4 files be deleted now all Routes are on TSW5..sorry theres a few things to ask here..again..but may aswell ask in 1 post The Routes I have not been able to migrate, find as free Downloads from earlier Games are : Bakerloo line Sand Patch Ruhr Sieg Nord Peninsula Corridor
I think you can remove the ones from TSW 3 and 4 because it was only used to access the routes for the TSW 5 version Besides, I saw that you don't even have to finish the download; as soon as you start download it, the route for the next version is available for free. Regarding the TSW 2 routes you mentioned, I'm don't know, as the solution is usually the same (check with TSW 4 version directly if it's free ). However, if you purchased the game on disc, you'll need to contact Dovetail support to get a key for have the TSW 5 version routes Regarding the lost save files, unfortunately I don't know; you'd need DTG or a PlayStation player to help you.
Thanks for that & yes I did eventually realise you did not have to actually download all the Tsw3 & 4 files once bought for free you could get the Tsw5 versions
