I'm in need of some Interurban rolling stock models made. Freight Motors, Trolleys and Combination Trolleys. I have blender models to use, or create your own from the ground up. Either way...willing to pay. While I'm currently making my own content, I truly know nothing about getting these models into TSC, so I'll need some help. Contact me if interested.
Have you seen this route? https://store.steampowered.com/app/...rthern_Suisun_Bay__San_Francisco_Route_AddOn/
I have particular models that I'm looking to have made. They are for a route that I may be working on. To have actual rolling stock for this route is the deciding factor if I will actual work on the route or not. While I have the blender models of this particular rolling stock, I have no idea (at this time) on how to get them working in TSC. If I can't find somebody to pay to get them working or made, then I will take the long process of learning it myself. Personally, I'd rather work on the models for the route while somebody (that knows what they are doing) can work on the rolling stock.
This seems to be the catch 22 around here. People complaint how the routes and content is all made all by the same groups of people. I've also seen complaints that the content is of low quality for the most part and not worth the money. Which to a point I can agree with all that. However, when somebody new comes along and is willing to put in time, money and effort into something new...they get ignored. Well don't feel bad, this is not the only train sim that has that issue. I do understand why people start a project here only to drop a few months later. I know, because I was one of them...the difference is that this TSC user is asking why? I believe that in this rail sim so few people know the real right answers about this sim, and even fewer are willing to help others. This post is a great example of this. Going forward I'll say that this is a good train sim and it deserves more life. I'll get off my soapbox now. I've got some content to make.
If you want something to be made contact some of the people who make locos and stock for TSC From you other posts you are after some US locos and stock - that is something that not many on this forum would know about. That US Route set around Sacremento was made by Gtrax. If you ask on Railworks America you might find somebody there who can help.
Who's willing to make locos...that is what I'm trying to find out. Somebody around here should know some names of creators who previously work on commission. Also, there is no point in posting over at Railworks America. Those forums are just as dead as this one is.
There are some people that do both...We know they are out there. There are also some people that are up to a new challenge. Remember, there is also an option here that these models are already build and just need to be adopted to this sim. I think at this point you are only posting just to argue...I'm getting too old for that. If I really wanted to do that, I'd go on Discord.
That's absolutely not true. It's that people only post there when they actually have something to say.
So nobody has nothing to say? I have already proven that incorrect. Just look at my many latest posts. I've even invited people to comment about my content with thoughts and ideas, but none ever do. I might get a "like" every now and then, but that's about it. It's sad, but it is what it is. This is my actual hobby, most here are just passing through, run some trains and then they move along. The few that do stick around seem to be more interested in screenshots, but don't really care to make those screenshots look more realistic. Nor do they even seem to want to bring fresh talent into the sim. Someday, I may just find somebody that take this seriously as I do. Until then I'll keep posting and getting ignored.
If you keep posting on a Forum where most people use UK and European Stock and where most people are end users of DLC. Post on a US Forum or ask some of the US DLC Makers - G-Trax, Machine Rail, Reppo - who built the AEM7 and E60, Milepost Simulations - who built Pipestone Pass, There are quite a few but you don't wish to ask then - have you already upset them? Did you stop to think the answer is nobody here can help and when an alternative is suggested you turn it down.
This is all I needed to know. Again, you are posting just to argue. What is this supposed to mean? I'm just settling into this sim. Who could I of upset, and why? You are making assumptions that are not there. Just because I want to go a different direction then you think I should, doesn't mean you get to throw around accusations at me.
First off, I'm not going to bring dirty launder into these forums. Let's just say I don't like how I was treated from that site back when I was just getting started in my modeling hobby...many years ago. There were many egos at that site that I simply don't want to deal with. Enough said.
This is what I'm looking to have done. 3 units. Freight Motor #401 to #403. These there freight motors are identical with the exception of the headlight position and the horsepower. Combination Trolleys. #114 to #116. The Trolley Coach #31 thru #39. You will note that there is no advertisements on any of these units and no destination signs. I do have Blender files of these models, my problem is that I'm clueless at this point on how to get a locomotive working in TSC. So I'm looking for getting these three units into the game by existing blender files or completely new model rebuilds. That's up to the creator who chooses to take on this task. If interested in this project or have more questions about these models, please contact me from my web site.
