A lot was added to TSW last year and whilst we wait to see what 2020 brings us, let's look back on all the content added in 2019. -BR 182 (Loco) -Main Spessart Bahn (Route) -Community Challenges (Feature) -BR 155 (Loco) -Class 52 (Loco) -Tees Valley Line (Route) -BR Heavy Freight Pack (Add On) -Amtrak SW1000R (Loco) -Train Sim World 2020 Update -Peninsula Corridor (Route) -Rhein Ruhr Osten (Route) -Mastery Rewards (Feature) -Class 31 (Loco) -East Coastway (Route) Out of these which was your favourite? Personally I would say Tees Valley Line.
I quite enjoy RRO, and the 182. Worth sticking those options into a poll for simplicity, with multiple selections allowed?
I voted for MSB, Peninsula Corridor and ECW. But if there were more than 3 votes possible, I would choose DB BR 182 and 155, RRO, BR Class 31, TVL and the BR Heavy Freight Pack too.
Some interesting results so far with TVL and the NTP freight pack tied for first, with ECW in second and MSB in third. In last place is the SW1000R with 0 votes, but I don't think i've seen a single person who liked that add on anyway. Hopefully DTG see these results and takes the feedback on board. Thanks to everyone who voted.
That's not necessarily true. I'm not British (Australian) but I prefer the British DLC especially the historic routes and locos. I voted for TVL, Class 31, and the Heavy Freight for NTP. If steam DLC had been released for TSW I'd probably be voting for that.
That's possible explanation for the results, only confirmed if everyone who's voted states their nationality. It could also be that the heavy freight and Tees Valley were just good DLC? I'd tend to agree that us Brits would be more likely to vote for UK routes just as I'd expect to see a bias for the US or Germany. Its what you're likely to know best and as such prefer, feel more comfortable with or rather as in my own case have a huge amount of nostalgia for particularly the Manchester Leeds route as its set exactly when I was a young lad growing up there. That's not to say that I don't enjoy the US or German routes, far from it I just have more of an emotional attachment to Whistler's, Peaks and Duffs!
It's OK, I wasn't complaining, but people in general and railbuffs in particular tend to be like that. Not too open-minded toward trains from different countries or a different era than the one when they were still young and pretty. I'm a bit like that too sometimes. When DTG announced we'd be getting a DB ET 422, which exists exclusively in the Rhein-Ruhr area - e.g. my area - believe that was a wow moment.
I get it wasn't a complaint more an observation, in fact it wouldn't do any harm to confirm what you said in all honesty. Would indicate one way or the other!
Good point, I'm a US rail fan all the way but since playing TSW I have grown to appreciate trains from other countries. MSB, RSN in particular. I think if your a train fan, all should be considered.
