    Hello
I'm fairly new to this train sim (I also bought TSW too). Have tried Trainz, Microsoft Train Simulator many years ago.... heck, I even had a couple of train sims on my Spectrum (I hope some of the others here remember them too)!

    I'll get me coat.

Welcome. Feel free to ask any questions you might have.

When I was at school I had a friend who had a ZX Spectrum but he just had space invaders on it. Was one of the train sim games you had called "Southern Belle"? (I did a google search as I was curious):

There were at least a couple of variations on this and they were ported to the Amstrad CPC with absolutely no attempt to exploit the better hardware. I had Evening Star for a while (you could drive a 9F over the S&DJR) but it was rubbish so I got my money back.

Ahhh, that's the one! The Evening Star didn't have the magic of Southern Belle. The game play was reasonable for its time and it was good way of teaching folk about the 'cut off' and what the blower did.

The hours I 'invested' in that game.
