Hi! Why not use the existing locomotives to make some repaints while you release some new DLC? You can sell it a for a lower price for example 2€ or 3€ each one and it’s another way to give more color to the routes without always the same locomotives with the same livery. For example with the DB 143 you have some liveries to do ( and X-Wagen Composition will be a perfect addon to do with this locomotive for S-Bahn services in Rhein Rhur Osten ) DB 143 Liveries: • Deutsche Reichbahn with DB Logo ( Unification of DB and DR ) • DB Orientrot ( with different reds ) • DB S-Bahn And then you have other ones, like - S-Bahn Rhein Rhur ( Verkehrsrot with S-Bahn Logo ) - Blue MELEZ Festival der Kulturen - Baureihe 143 im Höllentalbahn ( Verkerhrsrot with inscriptions in fronts ) And this is an example, the same with all other locomotives and coaches. You can do a lot of things like this to create new rolling stock without invest so much time to do it. With Doppelstockwagen you can create the regional “companies” like VRS, VVO... And then, obvioulsy, get some licenses and repaint locomotives with new companies, in this case of 143 you have Arcelor Mittal, RBH, MEG, EKO, EFB - Erfurter Bahnservice ( With the first livery of DR 243 White Lady ) or FWK - Fahrzeugwerke Karsdorf. Not too fond of this. What are these repaints good for without a route to run them on and without some fitting coaches?
Yes you can use it, not all of them, but for example, a repaint of DB 442 in DB AG Red you can use it in all routes, actually there are some DB 155 in Orientrot livery running with some freight trains, it’s possible tu use as well, or the MRCE ES64U2 with different liveries, running across all Germany, you can use it also. Maybe not the historical or concrete locomotives for some services you can’t use it, because concrete rolling stock is missing, but not all of them, the 143 is only an example.
Basically I want to see more variety along the routes. Not always the same locomotives in the same red colours. I think it’s the easy way for all, we can have more locomotives to drive and in game AI trains, and DTG, can get a little amount of money doing them, and some repaints are very easy to do with not so much time and hability to do it.
Well they're not that easy ncessarily. Many would require a modified model as well.
