Hello, I'm thinking about buying the Fife Circle Route and wanted to ask about the Performance on Series X, especially regarding blurry textures. I already own all the other Scotrail DLC (except for that Class 66 one) and would like to complete my Scotrail-Trilogy. I'd like to know if this Route is worth the full Price or if I should wait and Pray for one of our rare Sales.
Its ok but does feel quite tho if buy the 158 dlc you get that timetable as well but its quite as well . No freight I think.
The 158 timetable on Fife Circle is a shadow of the real thing. Hardly any trains after 1800 when in reality a frequent service operates on all the sub routes until well into the late evening.
Yeah, mods on PC have really boosted it up but it could have been so much more and of course that doesn't help console players :/
Graphics performance is fine, If you expect the 170 to sound anything like a train though, you'll be very disappointed as apart from the engine sounds there are no running sounds at all unless you are accelerating at full throttle or braking heavily. Despite working at launch and being broken in a subsequent "update" and rivet promising to fix it multiple times it's still broken so please don't give dovetail any money for this LOVE unless you want to pretend the class 170 is a maglev and floats above the rails.
Funnily enough I was playing it earlier and for the first time I was getting blurry textures! Saved and rebooted my Xbox and it was fine for the rest of the service after that. Good route but has so much more potential.
I like it, especially the 158 semi-fast runs. Leaving Edinburgh I usually get BTs by Haymarket, but saving then reloading solves it for the rest of the run.
