I wonder if that 25000 xp has to be done in one go. Just did a run goblin line got over 9kxp and did come off the 25000.
It must be the accumulated total. Even Bakerloo doesn’t give 25k AP for one run! Anyhow, quite looking forward to doing some driving later - as I mentioned earlier above, the Mastery is a nice little incentive to get me back playing when interest wanes and I start wandering over to other games.
Looks like they wimped out when setting the last one, complete a scenario without walking would have prevented the Spirit of Steam exploit, but adding 'or timetable' means it will just get completed when doing one of the 10.
Even though they may not have commented publicly, they obviously picked up on the SoS or Sherman free play scenario exploit and blocked it! Fair game… Still plenty of short scenarios to do on other routes and the chance to push a Journey mode or two.
Was just thinking (unusual for me!) could be quite tricky on Tier 2 as many scenarios do require you to leave the cab to do a bit of shunting or other interactive task. So I will search carefully.
Timetables also count, so I'll choose a random short depot move. Without getting up from my chair to enable safety systems!
Well I see the system is reliable as ever… After save scumming the Sherman Free Roam for the Tier One scenarios, did my first run on MV collecting a reasonable 11k or so AP. On checking the Mastery, the AP is showing complete with the bar right across at 25k along with the scenarios but of course Tier 2 (rightly) not unlocked. This really needs some coding love at some point, please…
My mastery challenge isnt registering whatsoever with the not taking a walk even tho i should have finished it by now and thats the only challenge i still need to complete to get the poster
Yeah the without walking thing doesn't complete for me either. (Unless it's just doing that thing where it counts behind the scenes but doesn't show in the game...)
For me its not even counting behind the scenes at all bc this is the only challenge i need to do but i doesnt work at all
It happened before, 'innovative' mastery challenges that don't work right away... They were eventually all fixed though
It's gone completely galloopy now. Did a 7K run on ECML which should have brought my total to around 18K AP. Not only is Tier 1 still showing as 25K, Tier 2 has now opened and credited the timetable run and distance I just did from Donnie to Grantham.
I too cannot get the "Without Walking" to complete, despite having done three runs now which qualify and have ticked over the Timetable and Mileage totals.
Have you already completed the other Tasks? Perhaps the Checkmark is just invisible again; it wouldn't be the first Time.
I'm completely stuck at level one. I've completed three scenarios, but only one has been counted. All three scenarios are on the Czech route, and only one scenario has been counted in his personal mastery. The driver's logbook does not show a single trip for yesterday or today.
At this point probably best to raise a ticket. I did so last night for the Tier 2 “Driver’s Chair” requirement after yet another run failed to put a tick in the box. Whole system needs an overhaul really.
I'm sure the devs will fix it once they're back in the office tomorrow (today is a public holiday in the UK).
Hello I have a question regarding scenarios in the master's program: If we create a scenario that has already been completed, does that count?
I'm normally one of the first to complain about broken mastery, but come on, give them a chance! It's literally 1 working day after the masteries came out for May (yesterday being a bank holiday here in the UK).
Also noted, as previous, if you load into a saved part run, it’s only registering the mileage covered between loading the save and finishing the run. So from my 90 mile slog over Shap, I only got about 50 miles having resumed somewhere north of Oxenholme. Edit: Confirmed loading a saved game on WCMLS just north of Leighton Buzzard, only added the distance between there and MKC. So be aware, it's pointless doing any runs for distance, if you can't finish in one sitting.

Rest assured, we are aware of the issues surrounding the "I'm Not Moving From This Seat" challenge. The team are investigating and we hope to have an update soon.
It hasnt just tried it myself its still bugged so it still has to be fixed but atleast dtg is looking into it now
