Am I Just Dense, Or Does This Game Really Not Store Your Progress?

You seriously have to create a new profile if you have to do a reinstall, or change computers? There is no way to access your previous profile and progress? Cloud saving seriously isn't a thing?

 

On PC no it’s not, I don’t know about consoles sorry.

However on PC what I do is once a month I email myself copies of my saved game files so if I ever had a hard drive failure etc I would only lose a max of 1 months progress

 

Surely just uploading to a Google Drive or something would be easier than emailing yourself?

 

Whenever I've changed laptops or done reinstall I've always kept all my progress and profile without me having to do any backups, but perhaps onedrive has done that for me then

 

Seriously, TSC has had the ability to store your progress in the cloud since god damn 2009

 

I changed my PC a year ago. And I reinstalled Steam and got everything back.

 

My google drive is full so sending to my work email saves me on storage fees

I agree, it's stupid that in 2026 we still would have to do that. There's cloud saving for some LOVE aspects of the profile but not for game progress. Ridiculous.
