Now that was an odd playsession on the ECW. I did three things: First, drive and finish a Brighton to Lewes service (with every single signal whatsoever wanting an AWS acknowledgement). Then, hopped on the freighter that was just coming into Lewes and drove that to Newhaven. Once there, I spent some time on foot, and then boarded a train back to Lewes as a passenger. Then, this happened: My second train had done it's loading/unloading, and who got the points and the gold medal? Yep! Or was is the first train having made its way back to Brighton? The game doesn't seem to sure itself...
If you finished the first service, did it not give you a debrief once you'd completed the final passenger load? I normally get that as soon as I complete the service.
Ahhh, so you didn't complete the freight service, but did get the points for it when it got to the end, even though you'd gone elsewhere as a passenger? Handy to know you still got rewarded for driving some of the way!
That sounds like an interesting session, especially since I don't care at all about points, awards, etc.
The service name is 2L20 Brighton - Lewes, the stopping locations are for the Newhaven freight service and the distance driven is apparently 0m; It's not surprising with oddities like this that Mastery doesn't work properly!
Well the distance is actually correct. The AI drove the freight train while I walked over to Newhaven Town and then got on the other train as a passenger. 2L20 I had indeed driven before and received a correct briefing. Guess that makes you part of a minority. For me the Mastery experience is, well... let's call it consistent. (Yes, I am logged in)
