since the release of the Morristown line i noticed new york-trenton needs a few updates such as adding the arrow iii and alp-45 into game with renovating a few stations over the map like secaucus for example the morristown line version looks way better then the new york-trenton one, fixing lighting all over the map around newark penn looks very dark in game and is lacking lighting compared to irl so night lighting needs to be fixed and renovating a few stations on the corridor such as princeton junction, new brunswick, metropark, newark penn and secaucus and possibly adding the princeton dinky and thats about it. i hope this can come as a patch as that would make way more sense than making it a whole new game and charging extra for it unless you have to pay extra for the alp-45
Great suggestion but I don't think they would really resell a route with a few tweaks and changes to stations What we need is the NEC and NJCL(Trains to Bayhead) there's so many changes they could add with this and I can go on forever such as the Comets V and the Portal bridge(By fall 2026 it should be done) perfect for TSW 7 they can add better Penn station look and lighting! Liked ur suggestion tho! I asked the same thing in the discord hopefully we can see this
If the NEC New York to Trenton gets a remaster in the future hope they can extend the line to Philly and obtain the SEPTA licencense to include SEPTA Trains.
What I really would like to see this route extended by adding north jersey coast line to it. They already have the nj transit license and have such a knowledgeable beta team. Plus a good third of the NJCL is on the NEC. I think they could do that as one of the core routes for tsw8, add the comet cars and make PL42AC as the special edition loco. And please stick with the timetable from the same period as Morristown. It’s so immersive when you finish a Morristown run at Penn and can switch to NEC and continue your next run from the same platform and timetable.
