I noticed this was added for br442 in today’s patch: Added collision to prevent camera entering the vehicle for BR 442 Whats the point of this “improvement”? Who asked for this?? Does this improve performance? I actually prefer to have access to the inside of loco/cars with the external camera.
Well at least the updates covered signalling aspects. So no more missing speedsigns and wrong signal display?
There’s now a “part 1” listed, which begd the question where are the other part(s). It was a pain to complete given how the brakes sometimes refuse to release.
I've asked that myself. There's a kind of Part 2 when you stay and go to Free Roam after the service. The next service objective is to drive the consist 11km to Dresden-Friedrichstadt. It ends after shunting the consist there. However it registers still under the initial service (Part1). I have no trouble (anymore) with the 363 brakes. The secret is to stay away from the "Release" stage of the Lap Brake. "Release" is misleading, never take the lever further than "Driving". "Release" does actually "Overcharge", use it very sparsely. For shunting and coupling with the light loco, always switch to the loco brake. It's specially helpful for precise stopping on the very tightly positioned stop spots. Some are 4m from the (red) dwarf signals and make you easily SPAD.
Nice to hear that the big hall behind the buffers at Leipzig Hbf is accessible again after the recent update. Was so confused when an invisible wall stopped me from exploring that beautifully modeled area.
When choosing a service in timetable mode the mini map that shows where the route will go displays the wrong route. For example a 8 min run f o Dresden Neustadt to HBF is shown to go from Neustadt all the way up to Coswig and then back down the new branch to Dresden hbf
