    Hi, just seen the Riviera Line and XC 220 are on 70% off via the deluxe pack. How have people been finding these please? Aware of the initial problems, wondering if it is now in a state to be purchased as 70% is probably pretty much as good as it'll get. Thanks!

    *Edit, meant to post this in general discussion but will just keep as one thread*

    I live in the West Country (Plymouth) and use this line in real life often and can honestly say that I am impressed with the detail that has gone into it. I am playing on Xbox Series X. There are some minor glitches but nothing game breaking in my experience, apart from one time when a train in front was stuck on a red signal and I had to remove it in order to continue). I haven’t encountered blurry textures (although I think some people might have).

    The earlier problems such as missing sea textures appear to have been resolved. Stations are recreated in great detail and scenery is good and recognisable (unlike the awful West Cornwall). They have even put in the iconic Sainsbury’s at Marsh Mills. There is even AI Steam at Paignton and you can leave the station via the steam platform and stand on the bridge over the level crossing. You can walk along the part of the Dawlish Sea Wall that is behind the station (though it would have been nice if they had extended this further.

    I can be a harsh critic sometimes with TSW Releases but am really impressed with this one.

    My only suggestion is turn off random train faults if your driving the 220, otherwise you'll be stalling engines every 10 mins.

    There is not much wrong with it (nothing I can think of myself anyway). For 70% off you should get it.

    I’m a sort of mid to casual player and the 220 is one of my favorite trains to drive. I love the sounds and just everything about it. As others have said, absolute bargain at 70% off.

    I forgot train faults were even in the game. Just as chronic as dynamic weather.

    i turned them off months ago, along with tsr’s which are somehow even worse. i’ll be happier if there’s no new features with tsw7; it’ll mean less updates and less chance of other unrelated content being broken

    I find the Riviera Line performing better than average. Less stuttering than on some of the other newer routes.

    Likewise. Never use train faults and all dynamic weather does is give you fog, nearly every single time!

    As for the 220, I like it. The door fault issue was fixed and I enjoy the fact I can drive it on different routes.
    The sounds are not pure 220, but pretty close, but at least DTG told us in advance.

    As regards to TSRs and Train Faults;

    I also turned TSRs off because they're always 40 mph and always the same distance. They're honestly more of an annoyance then a cool feature.

    As regards to train faults, I only ever seem to get door faults at this point.

    Although honestly I'd be fine if tsw7 didn't have any features like this in favor of fleshing out the above as well as spending more time on optimisation fixes

    For me if I'm driving the 800 its door faults about every 2nd stop, and the 220 its staling engines about every 10mins or so, to the point i just couldn't be bothered anymore and finished the route on 1 engine, i don't think I've ever had the door fault on the 220, as for TSRs what's the point in slowing down for about 50ft to just speed back up again, there more a nonsensical annoyance than something that feels right.
