Only noticed just now but I don't think any of the links in my signature now work. I tried recreating them but, even though I can see them working when I edit my signature, they don't seem to work in the actual forums. Is anyone else seeing the same?
Confirmed, although your WSR "link" is blue unlike the rest. I don't see anyone's images in their sigs, I see an embedded youtube vid once in every 10 times the rest of the time it's a blank space. I tried putting an image as my sig, it just showed "[lMG]", I made some changes and tried again thinking it could be a size limit or something, it started showing "[lMG][lMG]", I then though gently caress it and just put some text there instead, it decided to leave the "[lMG][lMG]" at the beginning.I would try changing it again but I am worried it will just add whatever I do to the end of my sig rather than replacing like it should be. It's a bit boned.
Yep I can't seem to fix this........although I do still see some other users that still have links in their signatures. It is most odd. (I have edited my profile, put the links back in, checked that they are there using preview and everything is OK. Then when you come to post in the forum the whole lot reverts to text). I deliberately posted this in a main forum so that it would get a larger number of views but DTG, rather than actually helping, just moved it to this part of the forum which, TBH, isn't that helpful at all.
As per the title, it would seem that I can no longer put any links in my signature. Why is this? Has there been a change to the forums to stop people linking in this way? (If so then it doesn't seem to apply to all users). Below you can see the Edit Screen for my Signature (bottom) and the Preview window (top) from that section showing that I have just added a Link for Mildmay. However, even after pressing Save 2 or 3 times this link vanishes the minute I exit the edit function. Why? (What am I doing wrong). I can paste exactly the same link here Mildmay Route - EXTRA PATHS - Train Sim Community And it stays as a link. So why doesn't it work in a signature any more? Last time I asked a question about this you just moved my post to the "Off Topic" forum rather than answer it. Please could you answer it this time? Thank you.
Good morning spikeyorks, Apologies for not replying sooner. I moved this thread into the Off-Topic section, where it is just as visible, as it's not directly related to Train Sim World. There have been no changes to signature permissions in the last weeks that would've removed your links. However, we have done some maintenance, which I suspect could be linked to this issue. I will look into this for you and report back as soon as I can. I'll also merge the duplicate thread you made on this topic.
