A couple of things from me first… The Deltics and any of the slam door EMU/DMU classes. What else should we have that we don’t currently have in your opinion?
The Br 648 Alstom Coradia Lint 41. I am quite surprised to see the Siemens Desiro Classic being done like 2 years ago but still no Lint variant in sight. I get it the Desiro is also a 2 car DMU but it just looks wrong on most routes it layers on.
Newcastle. Inverness. Fort William. Class 25. Class 26. Class 27. Blue/large logo Class 37/0 and 37/4. Aberystwyth. Class 120 DMU. A comprehensive decent set of blue/grey Mark One coaches. Decent steam locos and routes to run them on. More save game slots. Save game that works when chaining runs.
Working Steam physics, a train game won't ever be as good as it can be without them. When TSGs steam route was announced Alex said Steam has been heavily requested. Following that Deltics Class 26 A better 37

Kings Cross. I'm amazingly surprised we don't have it yet. Would love a modern ECML route out of it. Class 91!!!! 222 Meridian Upgraded DOSTOS sounds A decent Munich route Berlin A french/spanish route (aside from.TGV) An Irish route (biased) and its quite similar to UK so i think they would like it.
A GWR Steam Engine for WSR More Variation in german Dostos and Coaching Stock in general Sulzer Type 2 Diesels An updated DR V100 (BR 204) IC2 LMS Black 5 A Highland based Route (Scotland) A german Version of the Class 66 (BR 266) BR 140 on Left Rhine Edit: BR Green Diesels GAMMA SLIDER
-Virtual conductors that close the doors automatically (on the appropriate trains) -FOV slider -Safety systems on by default setting -More HUD customisation -A class 319 -A class 331
More Amtrak, other than Acela and NEC. Midwest routes. A game core that works efficiently for all platforms.
One thing we didn't have that we should have had from when Livery designer launched is the BR double arrows! I think it's pitiful that we've had the Avanti logo since DTG launched livery designer but we've had to wait all the way to Just Trains launching Preston - Crewe and giving us the double arrows in the mastery rewards instead of DTG giving us it from the LD launch
The list is too long and 1 or 2 items per route - sometimes, just different sub-classes of an existing loco - is not going to help whittle down the outstanding locos.
The Deltic to me is a startling omission. But then we don’t have a route for that era either. I think York - Newcastle should have been covered by now, so a 1982 version of that section would solve both problems. A Valenta HST could also layer into this. The Class 56 has to come soon. We have so many routes this would fit now as well. Same for the Class 37 - could JT take this on next?

Textures which don't blur. A developer that fixes blurry textures after years of promising that the work to fix blurry textures is looking promising. A developer that doesn't recommend that a workaround for their blurry textures is for us to play their game in HD. In 2026. Fixed running sounds on the Fife circle 170. A developer that doesn't take over six months to release a patch for a route developed by a third party. An end to the yearly "upgrade" cycle which results in everyone having to download 100s of gigabytes every year just because it keeps their PR team busy only for a few half-arsed new features which don't work properly and never get back ported to older content thus resulting in an ever more confusing catalogue of dlc and wondering what feature may or may not be present in it.

At last, a normal Swiss route – whether it’s operated by the SBB, BLS, SOB, etc. A proper Ebula. Plus the option to display the Ebula, or the other screens on a locomotive, on external tablets or small monitors.
Two things I thought we were almost certain to see as DLCs: ÖBB Railjet LNER 225 To me, the biggest thing missing is variety of coaches, particularly on the continent. ÖBB IC trains shouldn't be single class. and both they and DB could have other variants too, including the restaurants and bistro cars. And there are other generations of DB Dostos!
also, properly done 1116 + Wiesel dostos + Wiesel cab car (8633, I think), either in classic livery or in CityJet one
Multiple save slots, and/or the ability to save subsequent services after the current service ends and returning to free roam.
Stations York Berlin Hbf Chicago Locos Class 91 BR420 P42DC Rolling Stock MK3 sleepers Nightjet New Gen Amtrak Superliners
The single thing I'd like to have by now is more care being invested in older content, instead of the almost fire-and-forget philosophy we currently have. It's improved slightly lately, but there's still much to be gained. On second place, I'd say a much improved passenger system would be amazing, but I've been beating this poor horse to death already. On third I'd say a German diesel mainline like Pegnitztalbahn or Allgäubahn would be a very welcome change of pace... I'm very much oversaturated with electric main lines at this point
The next release is yet another freight loco for Cajon Pass. While enthousiast of such stock will undoubtedly be happy, I would rather have the Southwest Chief run on there, along with improving the passenger stations on the route
I had to read this four times to be sure that Mk3 sleepers wasn’t on the list! Personally I just want the features already in game to run correctly! But I would also say: - Proper cold starts - Tail lamp placement ability retrofitted to all stock - Highland Main Line - Probably time that a Waterloo route was made
That's only to flesh out the JT routes! The Mark One sleeping cars were much more iconic and would absolutely be needed in any sort of extended Mark One pack.
The translation of all third-party games is poor. We don't know what to do for the masteries. I won't be buying their DLC anymore from now on. Sorry.
