Tsw6 On Linux — Very Positive Experience Report

Depends on your graphics card; should be fine with AMD but expect performance to be diminished with Nvidia compared to Windows. Nvidia Linux drivers are under-developed unfortunately.

just to confrm for anyone wondering, all of these items only work on the steam version of TSW. Those of us on the Xbox / MS Store version are stuck in Windows world, unless willing to re purchase all existing DLC

 

Installed Bazzite today and TSW 6 actually running quite nicely with the latest Nvidia drivers. I was also able to add Godmode and Jetwash's lighting mod (dual-booting with Windows).

Edit: I noted also that during comparative testing, frame rates were around 10% lower than with Windows 11 Enterprise LTSC 2024 IoT Edition (Windows 11 minus the bloatware).
