Hate Class 66 Brakes, Should I Go For Class 90 Or Class 70?

I really can't enjoy running the Class 66 because of its brakes. I'd like an electric but there is so much negative feedback about the 90. Is the 70 going to be my best choice?

I'm also a little confused about the layers. If I get a Class 90 do I need WCML - London Euston to run it on WCML - Trent Valley? Maybe I already have Euston but if I buy DLC that doesn't work in that fashion I'm going to be rather annoyed.

 

The class 90 is usable on PC (just) and the only route so far is WCML Trent even tho is a bit of a half as_ed timetable, my advice is wait on the 90 i don't regret buying it but i can't recommend it as it is, if you want electric and freight my recommendation is the 2 WCML just train routes and the class 86/87 and tons of diesel hauled freight, especially the new Preston to Crewe route.

 

70 would be the better choice by far, it's going to run on 6 routes IIRC (WCML South, Milton K - Crewe, Birmingham - Crewe, Mildmay and Midland Main Line) whereas the 90 has one underwhelming timetable on WCMLS and a very short run on MAC.

 

Class 90 comes with just one timetable, that is for Euston to Milton K and it's exclusive to the timetable it adds, while said timetable is at the level of what we got with the route at launch, so it's pretty bad timetable. Class 70 will layer into multiple timetables made by AABS, so it is class 805 timetable for EMK, BHC and it will also layer into TVL as well as it will add new timetable for MML.

Class 70 is looking to be what I expected class 90 to be.

 

Great I will wait for that. I don't care so much about electric vs. diesel but I would like a somewhat modern control system. Class 70 sounds like a good DLC.
