Aren't you even a little ashamed for publishing addons in these conditions?

 

Not sure of what you are talking about -- This addon runs well on my PC and the Just Trains team should be feel proud of their efforts. I do have empathy for those on consoles but to tell a company they should be ashamed of their product is WAY overboard in my opinion.

They didnt say that they *should* be ashamed, they asked if they were. But to be fair, what is the correct feeling to have after claiming there wouldn't be blurries/no blurries were reported which is obviously and clearly not the case.

It's nowhere near as bad as other routes, but to claim none... None! Really! - this of course is after they'd just finished selling the wildly and catastrophically broken class 90 DLC to console customers for 2 whole months before giving us the 'were really sowwy, uwu' apologies.

 

If your on a PlayStation or an Xbox (Series S or X) I would give this a miss and wait for at least a patch or two. If you have a NASA level super computer then it's seemingly solid

 

I don’t think Just Trains put out the Class 90. And from your comment, that is who I assumed you were directing your comment… seeing you were directing that toward DTG, while I still don’t concur totally with you comment, I can follow your train of thought better… no pun intended.

It was ATS who are responsible for the class 90, and of course Just Trains for the Preston/Crewe. But it's DTG making these claims of performance/textures/etc etc on their streams, who claim testing was done and no issues were reported, it's DTG who don't seem to want to or be able to fix their game.

At the end of the day Dovetail are in full control over when a patch is released, they're in control of when content is released, they have the final Go/No Go - Dovetail by their own actions, will sell a DLC like the 90 in the state it was so it's fair to expect them to behave in a similar way when it comes to any fixes being passed along for the Preston Crewe.

Just Trains could make this the most flawless, stutter and blur free route to ever have existed in all of the universes I'm all the multiverses, but when DTG don't release the patch for one... Two... 5 months time what good does it do.

Third parties are just as liable to Dovetails shenanigans as us players are.

 

Considering current experience I think this route is already lost for console users, it is like Frankfurt-Fulda route which was never repaired for consoles.

 

I didn't realise consoles were missing static stock. That's a shame - Frankfurt S-Bahn again. Saves me £30 though

 

I should add that I don't blame JT for that, the problem is clearly in the game and it's catching up on it more and more.

 

I bought the route immediatly when I saw it. Love the time period and the old tap changers. As others have reported, the perfoemance is terrible though. I don't regret buying it, but this issue (no whether whose side the "fault" lies with) needs adressing.

Apart from that, I'm having an absolute blast with it!
