https://www.reddit.com/r/thomasthetankengine/s/aZ8zJDQyqN A few days ago, I was browsing Reddit and came across a fan-made DLC concept for Wonders of Sodor that included around 21 packs and featured nearly every character from the series. I thought it was incredibly impressive, especially considering the creator said it only took them about two weeks to put together. Personally, I don't expect Dovetail to include every single character in the game, but it really shows how passionate the community is and how much potential there is for future content. Even if it's not realistic, it's still fun to see what fans can come up with.
Not bad ideas. Out of them all, I would love a Magic Railroad add-on of Diesel 10, Lady and Splodge. I had an idea for Diesel 10's claw to be an additional gameplay quirk to his engine, like we use an additional 'Pinchy camera view' to pose the grabber. I quite like Lady too, it would be nice to have her available. She doesn't need to be a magical/dream engine, but we can use our own headcanons for where she fits on Sodor (especially if we get a custom Timetable Mode).
Yeah, I like the list too. The characters that stand out the most to me are the mainland engines, especially Connor, Caitlin, Spencer, and the Flying Scotsman. Alongside the main cast and the Skarloey Railway fleet, I think they would be some of the most compelling additions because they're characters I've always enjoyed. I'd also love to see Rosie make it into the game, especially since she seems likely to get more attention in future Thomas content. She would be a great addition to the roster. That does raise an interesting question, though: would Dovetail ever extend the Main Line beyond Sodor? I don't think it's particularly likely, but it would be really cool to travel across the Vicarstown Bridge and see a small section of the Mainland. It would make the railway feel even bigger and open up some unique opportunities for new routes and characters.
